Has anyone ever had an hcg shot? If so did you have sucess with getting pregnant after its administration? I'm going to be doing the shot soon after completion of clomid.

I had my shot on 10/2 just before my IUI. i am waiting to test. Sorry i couldn't be more helpful. I have read that the medication does stay in your system for about 7-10 days after taking it. Good Luck!!!!

i just took my hcg shot on tuesday. i went in to my dr's office to have the nurse do it b/c i'm a wimp. it stung but it was not as bad as i thought. but sore for 3 days after at injection site. my DH and i had our timed intercourse yesterday morning and this morning both at 6 a.m. Romantic, huh? i take pregnancy test in 14 days. keeping fingers crossed and saying lots of prayers. BY this time you ahve prob taken ur shot. how did it go for u?
