Clomid only between 6 and 8 pm ?

My Dr prescribed me Clomid only between 6 and 8pm. I was about an hour late today, so I just wanted to make sure it was ok. How come we have to take it a certain time of the day? Tomorrow is my last pill of Clomid and I dont go in for the ultrasound until cycle day 9. How long after that do we normally get the trigger shot?
