where's my period? how long does it take post-lupron?

hi all...so i had my last lupron shot almost 2 months ago and despite the crampy bloated feeling i've had for the last week there's no period in sight...sucks too cuz i've been a lovely combination of hopefully and paranoid which has led to my wearing a pad everyday...and sadly it's stayed clean...
i had 3 one month shots for endometriosis and was feeling better than ever until just recently when i started getting the horrible crampy burning pains - especially around my left ovary...has anyone else been on lupron for endo? how long after your last shot did it take for your period to come back? my Dr's MIA but hopefully i'll get in touch with him soon!!
ironic that i wake up every morning hoping my period will come, but once it does come i'll be hoping for it to stop..sigh...

hi mrspaj--i am on danzanol for endo which is similar to lupron. i am not sure how long it takes but from some of the post i read it can take like 3 even for months for AF to come back !!!!!!!!!! have you had an ultrasoiund done ? did your endo shrink alot ? i am wondering i aslo get that cramping burning sensation....what does that mean ? is that the endo cyst growing ???? it drives me nuts and make me worry !!!!!!!!! good luck and please respond !

hi patrizia ...i don't know what that feeling is either, in my head i also imagine it's the endo growing... i have an appt with a new Dr (who'll hopefully take me more seriously than "just get pg") tomorrow afternoon...she's supposed to specialize in endo and infertility... i just want to get my period again and start trying already! best of luck to you and if she says anything new i'll post again and let you know!

yeah-mrspaj--endo stinks so much ! that i also think that my endo is growing when i fell that burning twinge that pounds at time !!!!!!!!!!! ohhhh i hate endo . not only does it mess your fertility but it messes with your mind, and lets not even talk about the physical pains. please let me knew what your specialist says-any new info is good to knew ! and good luck !!!!!

I was on lupron depot but not for endometriosis. My RE wanted to shrink my fibroid before surgery to remove it. My period took 6 months to come back. I think I had the 3 month shot though not the 1 month one. It was great not to worry about my period for that long. But I had brutal hot flashes!

so i went to see the new doctor (who i love) and today i start provera as a blood test showed that there was no hint of estrogen in my system and therefore no sign of the lupron wearing off....hopefully the provera gets my period started and then when it does i go back in on day 2 or 3 for more bloodwork and an ultrasound of my ovaries...fingers crossed that everything goes as it should...
also she's thinking clomid but only b/c too long off of everything could cause the endo to come back quickly and neither of us wants that so we shall see...
