What would cause the heavy flow?

I had my period on Feb 1 then I was expecting it on Feb 28... but nothing..nothing on March 1 either. Then March 2nd I started to spot...then it stopped. Then March 3rd full force. This period was really heavy? Still haven't gone to the Dr. Trying again this month. Anyone on the same cycle as me? We could do this together:0
