What is a pelvic ultrasound??

DH & I have been ttc for 4 months w/ no luck. On day 13 of my next cycle I am going in for a pelvic ultrasound. Will this simply check to see if I am ovulating or not? (I have regular AF). If anyone can please shed any light on what exactly a pelvic ultrasound is, I would greatly appreciate it! This is will be our first child & we are still trying to learn everything!

A Pelvic Ultrasound is a diagnostic test that will have a look at your ovaries, Uterus, fallopian tubes, bladder etc... It will show how many follicles your ovaries will be releasing along with the size of them on day 13.
