unexplained infertility Letrozole success?

Hi just looking for some insite on Letrozole and its success rates. I am 27 Dh is 37 we are both healthy, good sperm count etc. I have unexplained infertility, DH has 4 children from his previous marriage. We have conceived one time naturally together but had a MC. I did 5 rounds of clomid dose ranging from 50-150 with out success. I am now participating in an unexplained infertility study and I took 5mg of letrozole last month with trigger shot and iui. No success so I go back thursday to get round 2 of letrozole, and will be getting trigger and iui this cycle as well. Has anyone had luck on this drug. I hear that women who don't respond to clomid will usually get a BFP with this drug. I had 5 follicles my first round which is more then I ever got with clomid.

all i know is i have pcos and i tried clomid only to be doubled over in pain so i was taken off it for awhile..i ttc on my own for years nothing..so i decided to loose weight and i was already taken metoformin 2000mg a day so i would have periods because without it i wasnt having any..well i got pregnant doctor fig sice i lost so much weight and was taking tht metoformin it caused me to finally ovulate because i wsnt ever before..at 6 weeks i had a mc..i was devasted because itwas 8 years of trying just to have a mc i thought i was going to die..well doctor put me on letrozole 5mg starting day 3 to day 7 told me to have sex on day 12,14,16,18,and20 and i only done that one month and i was pregnant again and i have a 5 year old son..i found that pill to be a miracle..im ttc again i have sice gained my 60 ounds back i lost all those years ago im taking te metoformin 2000mg a day and im going to star my first round of letrozole this month i hope it works like it did before..i wish you all the luck in the world baby dust your way
