I changed my mind to... I recently(sept 22, 05) had my tubes untied. I had the bipolar cauterization and still ended up with record tube lengths (11 and 13) My Dr gave me great odds and this is our first month TTC. I live in Missouri but went to a clinic in GA where they specialize in Reversals. The cost was $6300 dollars whereas others in my area were asking for 11,000.00. Yes. I had a tubal reversal in July of 2005. The cost all depends on where you go to have it done. I had my tubes tied when I was 24 years old. I am now 34. It definitely can be done. Good luck to you. |

I heard that if you just have your tubes tied there is a chance for them to be reversed and have a successful pregnancy. If u got them tied,cut, and burnt then the only option is IVF. A girl I worked with had 3 boys and had her tubes tied in 1998,almost 5 years later in 2003 she ended up pg again and had a little girl the same year. The Dr said her tubes had untied themselves or something like that. |

HI I HAD MY TUBES UNTIED ON 03/02/07... THE PROCEDURE WAS PERFORMED IN 4 HRS AND I WAS REGRETTING HAVING MINE TIED TOO.. SO FAR I AM NOT PREG. BUT I AM HOPING IT WORKS... IT REALLY DEPENDS ON WHAT TYPE OF PROCEDURE YOU HAD DONE.. MINE WERE ONLY TIED AND NOT BURNT |

wanting miricles are always possible but your chances are slim. There are companys that will give loans for the procedure. Thats what I did. Also just to let eveyone know I had my tubes tied 13 years ago and I had the reversal in Oct 2006 My tubes were cut tied and burned! I am currently 14 weeks pregnant it just depends on how much tube is left and how close the procedure was done to the uterus! I had a good length left and it obviously worked most Drs will do many tests and look at your op report from the original procedure before doing the reversal if they don't I would question if it was a good dr in that case. hi.. wantanotheraftertr... so it took u that long to get preg.! wow.. my re told me that i still had 7cm on one side and 8or 9cm on the other. my tubes were only tied.. it has now been 3 months since my tr. i really hope it works... i had to save and pay cash for my procedure!! i went through a nasty divorce and it ruined my credit, so i could not get nothing financed.. so did you take any meds to help u conceive or did you just wait? |
