I had my tubes tied in my twenties when I thought I didn't want kids and now, 10 years later, I realize that was a mistake. Is there a way to reverse the procedure so i can have kids?

I had my tubes tied in 95 now I haven't started my period and it was suppose to start on the 6th of November should I worry or wait to see if it starts late.

Cynthia, i would wait a couple of days before you test at least until your a week late. irecently went through the same thing except my tubal was 6months ago. but my period started a week late. HPT are so expensive.

A women that I was friends with had her tubes tied at one point after having 2 kids.. then remarried and had it reversed and successfully got pregnant and had her son exactly one year after the wedding.... so all things are possible.... talk with your doctor...

As a whole, 70 - 75% of women who have tubal reversal surgery get pregnant and have a baby. With some women the probability of pregnancy is even higher and with some it is lower. The average is 70 - 75%. If you have had your tubes "tied" and you want to have another baby, you may be a candidate for tubal ligation reversal. Many patients who have been told they should have IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) can actually have better chances of getting a baby, with less invested and less risk with tubal ligation reversal. We cannot emphasize this too strongly. IVF costs $10,000 per cycle and most experts will tell you not to consider it unless you try a minimum of 3 cycles. Tubal ligation reversal in our center is $6,300 and your chances of successfully getting pregnant are 70%, even higher if you are under 35 years of age.

I got my tubes tied 12years ago.I found someone I truely love and he wants a baby as bad as i do,I would love to have that reversed so bad I dream of having another baby.I have raised 4 children and they would also like to see me have one more,just dont have the money they are asking for is there a chance of help?I would love to have another baby...I regret it so much now for having them tied.

I did the same thing, i'm 20, had my tubes tied after my second child in 2003. I wish I didn't do it. My mother kind of pressured me into it. I recently got engaged, and we would love to have a child. I really want to get it reversed, i made a huge mistake. :(

I had my tubes tied 11 years ago and now have got pregant in my tubes and I can't keep it. I have remarried and want a baby now what are my odds off having a baby and getting my tubes untied.
