Morning Ladies! Yesterday was many things, but a successful IUI was not one of them. After two grueling hours, John could not provide the specimen! He stressed himself out to the point of cold sweats and massive anxiety issues. They even let both of us use an exam room and one of the male factor condoms - how cool is that having sex on the exam table in a Dr's office, stirrups and all, I call it kinda kinky - not for John. He got about 3/4 the way and poof, shrinks! gggggrrrrrr! So I left him to try again on his own and nothing. The RE Rxed him Cialis in the hopes that would help, but I am thinking those pills have nothing to do with it because... when we got home (4/5 hours after he took 1/2 viagra) he got me good! I don'tknow. Next cycle we are renting a hotel room!! Since I have been told numerous times John cannot impregnant me naturally I expect being 1dpo is not of any importance, lol. So this cycle is a bust. I have to admit though, we had quite the needed discussion about our sex life and other things on our way home... so as I said yesterday was a lot of things but the IUI never took place. Well let me go and catch up, looks like the thread has been slow. It is the weekend and a nice one at that. brb :)

Before I address individuals, let me say I did come to the full revelation that IUI is most definitely against my grain and that I am truely doing this out of love for my husband and his needs to be a father - did I say that? LOL Also, John has since agreed that: if after 3 unsuccessful IUI's he is open to adoption. What a total relief! You girls have no idea what a relief it was to hear him say that to me. I could have fell in love with him all over again at that momment. ROBYN_ Thank you! Sorry to hear the hormones are getting the best of you. Can you take a B-Complex plus a B6 100 (200) during this process? I say both pills because one should never take an individual B vitamin w/o first ingesting a Complex (all B's). The B6 is great for mood swings. I can just about promise you that. NICOLEM_ Thank you! I am totally accepting your sticky, sticky babydust!! Gonna need it since we didn't get to do the IUI yesterday. Ma I felt absolutly horrible and embarrased for both of us!! I mean, we were the RE's only pts and the RE had it in his head because John has done 3 SA's in the past that this would be a shoo-in - what he didn't know was his SA's were done at home and taken to the hospital 6 blocks and a river away!! I think he was a bit pissed. I am sure he charging us an OV fee for wasting his time. RHONDA_ Thank you for the well wishes and props. Yes, I am a writer; but one of those do-over kind that never get shit on the table. I work in spurts and constantly edit my "finished" work. I have made a pact with myself to get my poetry book out first. I have finally sent 3/4 of my manuscript ro my nephew for his illustrations. I have yet to decide whether to add some short stories. Morning girls, Leysa already sick thats totally gotta suck and most people would not even have a clue they are pregnant! Thanks for the encouragement i will be fine just getting nervous. MY AF is in major full force today worse than the 1st one after the D&E i have bad cramps. KATHY - sorry about the witch showing ): Too bad we arent cycling together we are like 1 days apart (: KATT - i am sorry about the IUI thats got to be extremely frustrating for you and John. When you do an IUI is there anyway to get a sample before you leave your house and bring it with you so John isnt under so much pressure?

ROBYN_ It is a time issue. We live about 45 minutes away and if there is any construction orwhatever it is farther so, no he cannot do it at home. He says he read something about a urologist being able to extract sperm in the event the performance anxiety is so great he can't even provide a sample under other conditions so he evidently has his bases covered, lol!

Hello girls how are you all doing today?Katt i am so sorry iui was a bust;.I imagine how stressful it must be,i do believe getting a hotel room closer to the dr office is a good idea.My thoughts are with you always girl.Leysa,im sorry you already have m/s,i know it sucks.When i was pg with my last one Sophie;I would get bad m/s and i found that soon as i started feeling sick if i chewed"Big Red"chewing gum,my m/s pretty much subsided everytime.You can give it a try,it may work for you to.Or even try drinking a 7-up it might work as well;.Robyn hate to hear how bad your cramping sweetie.I think i am trying to get my af because i am having some slight bleeding and some minor cramps.So i feel sorta crappy.Erin sorry af showed up.I am doing half a$$ alright lol;.Natasha,i bet your very excited about seeing your baby next wk huh?Enjoy your pg,it seems to fly by so fast.My kidney has been kinda hurting off and on,so i wonder if it is normal?With the kidney stone the dr busted it up in tiny peices and i have to pee it out,said it can take several mos to completely rid of it,long as another stone dont form from the particals,so that has me kinda worried!.Well i love you all and will post later if i can.

Hey ladies. How's evryone doing today? Well, I just got off the phone with my hubby and he's doing okay. He said the prices over there are crazy. He paid $18 for a ham and cheese sandwich and a soda!!! Can you imagine that? I was talking with a friend lastnight and told her that I was ttc and she recommended GERITOL TONIC. So I googled it and got a lot of useful information on it. It has been shown to increase fertility and increase your sex drive!!! A lot of women swear by it. I've heard of this before and I've also tried taking the pills but I haven't tried the tonic. So, I'll be taking that along with my Tandem OB prenatals until my hubby gets back. And along with the HSG, hopefuly we'll get something accomplished. Have any of you ever heard anything about the Geritol?

Hello Ladies!!! I am so sorry that I haven't posted in a while. Things here are just crazy. DH and I were supposed to have a relaxing weekend because I am supposed to rest. I did see some brown colored mucous but no real spotting. I am trying to keep my stress level to a minimum. However my work has assigned me on this huge project and if it gets done well that could mean a promotion for me a year earlier. I have told DH that it is not as important to me as having a baby. It was a miracle concieving on our own and I want to make sure that I can do everything to keep my baby safe. Tomorrow morning I go back to the RE to do another OB sonogram. I am really hoping that we will be able to see the heartbeat. DH and I are really scared that we aren't going to see anything. Last week when I started spotting, we saw the yolk sac. My RE said that it was in a good position. I didn't really see anything else but he said everything was looking to be normal. Tomorrow is the real test. DH and I have read everything from what spotting can cause. Sometimes google is great and other times it is your worse enemy. I will everyone and update tomorrow. I need to go and read all the posts. I did skim through some. KATT - Sorry to read that your IUI didn't go as planned. The good news is that your DH is willing to go a few more times. Who knows if you did at home then it might be possible that you got it anyway. Stay positive!!! ROBYN - AF will go away soon. Just think you are getting closer to your date for the transfer. I know that you must be getting excited. I did see that you didn't have MS before. Today after breakfast, I threw up. Then DH and I went out to get groceries and I didn't even want to look at the meat section. I am concerned that I don't really have the sore breasts that everyone else does. I need to stop doing research because it is making me crazy. LEYSA - Congrats!!! Sorry to hear that you are already having morning sickness. I hope that you get some rest and that your 2 kids aren't driving you crazy. RHONDA - Glad to hear that you are feeling better. TO EVERYONE ELSE - I need to go back and read the posts. Evening girls. Where do I start? I guess I shoud start by saying sorry for being an absentee. Friday I got home, sent my boys to watch Shrek 3 and was washing all the floors. Saturday I dropped DS at my aunts house (about 1 hour away) and had to go finish shopping for a BBQ at my house. It was alot of fun, but the second everyone got to my house it started pouring. LOL. I had a tent up on my porch so we had a lot of home made wine, of which you need to drink just one glass an you are sooooooo drunk. LOL. I had a blast. Today started out great. Sex without a 5 year old in the house is alot more fun. Sex twice in an hour without a 5 year old is even better :) Of course the day went down hill from there. DH and I went to pick up Josh at my aunts and helped her clear her backyard from trees and ivy and all sort of good stuff. We ended up with about 20 construction bags full of branches, wood and weeds. I am totally pooped.Katt, sorry John couldnt make a donation. (((((Hugs))))) I hope next month he'll do better. At lease he agreed to adopt. That is great progress. Natasha & Lisa, I hope next u/s you girls will get to see the heartbeats. So exciting. Kathy sorry about AF. What is next for you? I never understood why some Dr's break up the stones instead of removing them. CHRISTIE_ Where is your hubby at again? When I lived in NY it was $16 for a hogie and a drink at the Deli - so I know what you are saying. Man do I miss those Deli's!! Is there a geritol tonic for men? I don't need a sex drive boost but my husband sure does!! LISA_ Don't worry about when you post, just be sure to fill us girls in. We know you've got a lot going on especially finding out you're pregnant!! I am trying to stay positive about the home sex, lol, I asked God before we left for the RE's office to please make today as it should be and to disregard my anxt (sp). Whether or not anyone heard is beyond me, but no IUI and we'll see if we made a baby. Lisa, our sexlife is nearly non existant as compared to most and the reality of it is his mental inability to focus and know he CAN do it! We had a good discussion so lets hope the words were just that, words. TANYA_ YaY SEX! Wish I was getting some. HA Sometimes I think the sole reason we don't get pregnant naturally is simply due to lack of sex! IUI's are his way out and for me that bites to even think it. Hello Ladies - Here is the quick update... We went to the RE's office and as of today I am 6W3D. My Dh was able to see the heartbeat. The small monitor was not that good for me but that is okay. I was just really scared that we weren't going to be able to see anything. So far everything looks good. He told me to make another appointment for next Tuesday and then I will be off to my regular OB. There is a definite difference from last weeks US and this weeks. There is more to see. We were both so happy that my DH teared up when he told us everything is looking good. I am just really happy and excited today. Hope that everyone is doing well. KATT - THANK YOU for your kind words! Glad to hear that your DH is very understanding and that you had a good talk. When DH and I were trying it was really hard because sex seemed to be like a chore at times because we were always doing what the monitor told us to do. This past month we had so many other things going on that it was like well who cares about the monitor. That was how we got it. Stay Positive!!!

Hello my beautiful friends,Lisa0305 hey hunny.I know you are worried because of the spotting and i want to tell you that alot of women will have spotting in early pregnancy.Dont mean anything is wrong try not to worry because that will put alot of stress on you sweetie.Not all woman have symptoms of pregnancy.I have 5 children and i did not have sore breast with all of them.Some women will say your lucky when you dont have symptoms.Some women will have every symptom in the book,some will only have few and some others wont have any symptom other than no af.Just try to relax much as you can,although i do really understand how it is hard not to worry"big hugs to you"Also with your pg being this early you wont really see a whole lot on u/s.Everything will be alright.Tanya whoo!! Afternoon ladies. Computers at work werent working until now. Katt the POOL e-mail was hillarious. So funny I almost pissed my pants. LOL. I am not sure what CD I am, hold on I will count. OK I am on CD16, still no + OPK. I guess answer strips do suck. I mean on the one from last night, I looked at it about 30 minutes after dipping an the line was almost as dark as control. This mornings' line was lighter. May be I missed the surge? Well if it was yesterday I think I had it covered. Who knows. I am so confused with this shit. Pardon my language. Hey girls sorry i have been MIA all day had to watch my 2 year old neice while my sis went to the doc and they i hung with her all day. She is 34 weeks and apparantley has been having contractions according to her doc she keeps getting in pain and the doc said well if you get more than 5 and hour than its time to call me. She has a scheduled c-sections for the 28th of June hope she makes it that long. TANYA - i am glad you got some 2x in a day. My hubby would die for that LOL We havent been able to do anything because of the 2 procedures i just had they said no sex till this past friday and then i got AF on Sat so its been a dry spell. Jason keeps saying OH GOD please before we get pregnant again its gonna be such a long time to get anything LOL I feel bad (sometimes) LOL. Anyway LISA - i am glad you got to see the h/b and things are looking good its such a relief i am sure. RHONDA - so you got your 1st AF in a while isnt that fun!! LOL. Its CD3 for me and this is the worst period in years between the D&E, HSG and Hysteroscopy i have been cleaned out but good in there so i guess my period couldnt wait to come in full force. They say usually the 1st period after a D&C is really bad mine was nothing. This one i have got real bad cramps so i am hoping this goes away soon. Well I go to the RE on wednesday for the "big appt" getting nervous again. Hoping for a good outcome in a few weeks anyways i will check in later. Oh we just booked another vacation to the Keys in July we are gonna take Anthony when he comes home from his dads it should be alot of fun.
