Hi Toscana,

I check the forum every few days to see whats been happening. You will have to bear with me though, not sure wot all these codes mean AF lol please advise! Im still TTC. Im off on holiday tomorrow for a week (need a break) all this TTC gets abit stressful. I had an ultrasound scan last week which came back normal. Just waiting to see the gyenacolgist to discuss next step. Ive been told im not ovulating so im hopin they will do something about that & put me on clomid. What part of the process are you up to? Have you been trying long? x

Hi Toscana and Josie12! How long have you guys been TTC? My husband and I have a two and a half year old son and have been trying for #2 since he was six months old! It's been very exhausting and frustrating. I am currently in my 2WW (again) and due for AF on Saturday. Not extremely hopeful for this cycle.

I have been TTC for almost 6yrs properly but still no luck, i never really looked into it with me being so young but now I am it seems like forever. Good luck with it all and keep me posted x

Hi josie! Six years is such a long time! Two years seems like forever for me. Is this going to be the first baby for you? And do u think they'll put you on clomid?? I got af on saturday as I figured :( so frustrating!!

TTC is a unique experience for everyone. For example, Josie has been trying for 6 years with no luck, Ashley W has a son, but has been trying for almost two years now for a second. I have a friend who could not get pregnant for 10 years and now she has two children that are two years apart. I became pregnant first try with my son, who just turned two on Thursday. Then I became pregnant on the first try last June, only to miscarry in July. Since then I have had no luck ttc for another baby, and am even seeing a fertility specialist.

Here are some codes that I know:
AF- aunt flow
BD- baby dance (sex)
DH- dear husband
DS/DW- dear son/dear daughter
CM- cervical mucous
EWCM- egg white cerv. muc.
O- ovulation
OPK- ovulation predictor kit
HPT- home pregnancy test
BFP- big fat positive for a pregnancy test
BFN- big fat negative for a pregnancy test
PG- pregnancy
MC- miscarriage

If I can think of more or realize I was incorrect, I will add/modify the list...lol

If anybody is going on clomid...how long did it take for your doctors to actually put you on it. Were you just not ovulating or were there other reasons they put you on it?

Yeah AshleyW - 6 yrs is long but im 23. Ive always wanted kids from being young and ive bin with my partner for 8yrs so were more than ready!
Yeah it would be my first, i dont have any - you??
I dont know when or if i will ever be put on clomid??
I went for my pre-op assesment on Tues and im currently waiting for my OP date for my laparoscopy. Im having dye inserted into my tubes to see if there are any blockages and they flush your tubes out (well this is my understanding anyway). This gives you a better chance of becoming pregnant. My sister in law had this procedure done a few years ago and she fell pregnant....but i no not to get my hopes up too much...everyones body is diff. I will NEVER give up though, i will get my dream one day!!!
When i had my Op i will keep use posted - it should be within the next few weeks so fingers & toes crossed xxxx
