k8cherry - April 5

Hey guys. Sorry I have been MIA. I am having a rough couple of days. I am still waiting for af to show. I was so ready for the next cycle I had accepted that af was coming but no now my body is playing tricks on me. I am so emotional. I took a test this morning and of course BFN so where the heck is she? I just want to get on with it already. If she comes today then I guess I should have counted the first day of this cycle the following day since I got af at night. I have been feeling so sick lately just in the afternoons and I am so tired by the time I leave work. So I guess I am just waiting for af.

Ok its 2:30pm and still no af. I am starting to get really frustrated. There is no sign of her either. I guess I just have to keep waiting. Off the topic but check out this link I got from my dad. I thought it was really cute and interesting to learn about. http://www.greatturtlerace.com

This may sound stupid but should there be fluid in our uterus all the time? When I had my ultrasound done a week ago the nurse said that there was a good amount of fluid in my uterus and everything looked great. I was just wondering if there should be fluid all the time or if its there because I am pregnant. Now I am just driving myself crazy.

oh geeze, I just got a bill from our first appt at the fertility doctor from when they did all of my blood tests. well apparently our insurance doesn't cover it and it was $1,200!!!!!! Just for those tests. DH went in for the same tests last week so we are going to have to pay $2,400.00 just for two blood tests. oh man i better find my butt a J-O-B !! He is going to have a COW! I wish we knew that kind of stuff ahead of time. Bina - how are you doing? K8- sorry bout the wait, I'll wait with you, ive got major cramps and I finished the provera today! so GL. How are you holding up Newmommy? Saintrose - Diem ....how are you two? Lucky- how are you feeling? I was thinking about you earlier today! Hope you are doing well !!!

Well, it was a good day today after all! After my appt. I told my Dr. that I was going crazy because there was a remark from the embryologist and I was worried that it was a bad result on DH's SA. She promised that she'd have the lab release it for me. About an hour later, it was in our chart and she printed the report out for me. DH's volume was 1.9 with a total count of 238 million! Everything was normal. Motility was a little low, but still considered normal. No AR required unless I don't get pregnant after 3-4 cycles. YAY!!!! Now, on to me---the cyst is on it's way out! All looked good. My endo lining was nice and thick. She thought originally that I had already o'd, because she thought my dominant follie looked more like a corpus luteum. When I told her that my temps had been low, she had them draw my progesterone level. It's low, and showed that I didn't o yet. So, I'll try to ask her tomorrow what she thinks about checking me again in a few days and doing an HCG trigger. I'm guessing she'll say no, since I don't think they trigger unless you're doing Clomid. But it's worth a shot since last time I had a nice big follie but I never o'd. If my body doesn't cooperate soon, I'll have to take birth control pills for a while (not sure how long) so they can "reset" my cycles. I really hope that doesn't happen!!!!! The thought of having to wait a few months and taking birth control pills scares me! So I'll do whatever I can to have a normal AF come so that I can finally start my Clomid. I think that if I can just get started on it, we can finally have a chance! Okay, I need to fix dinner---I'll write more later!

newmommy - April 6

WoooHooo! I got a +opk today! Yay! Maybe my body will actually cooperate with me this cycle! We BD'd last night, and we'll probably go ahead and do it tonight and tomorrow too. Gotta get as many spermies as I can now that I know that the count is fine! I'm going to ask my Dr. today what she thinks about triggering me today now that I have the +opk just to make sure I actually release that egg! Yay!!!! Happy Friday, gals!

diem - April 6

Newmommy, CONGRATS on the positive OPK! YAY! That would be great if you O...and it's earlier than usual right? K8, I noticed your temp drop today...UGH!! As for me, I think I am oing either today or tomorrow. My temp dropped. Unfortunately, I can't ttc this month. Wow this sucks! I'm on cd22 today so this is just a few days later than my normal o. This is about right for the cycle after my miscarriage. Well, I just want my body to be back on track. I hope I start AF in 2 weeks. Happy Easter everyone!!!

Finally af has shown her ugly face. Its about time. Now I can get going on the next cycle. Looks like the iui will be around April 19th-20th. Woohoo. It will be here before I know it. Hopefully this will be it. Man she is going to kick my butt this time. I am already getting the bad cramps. I am so happy I am leaving work at 1pm today. Dh has the day off so we are going to go shopping!!! I will write some more later. Newmommy - CONGRATS on the positive OPK. Get to bding. Diem - Your body will be back to normal in no time. I can't wait until they figure out whats up so you can keep your bean :-)

TWhit - So sorry about the bill. Its amazing how much it all adds up. You would think they would have check with the insurance before getting thing started. When I met with my dr. they called my insurance before my visit to make sure things were covered. You need to move to CT. They came out with a law where the insurance companies have to pay 100% of 3 cycles up to $50,000. I am still covered under my dad as a secondary and both insurances cover it so I have to find out how it will all work so I don't waste anything.

TWhit116 - April 6

Seriously! What I am going to do is print out what is covered and tell them they needs to work around this for right now. unless we talk about how much it is going to cost first! geeze!

bina - April 6

Hi guys. Well, my transfer went very well yesterday. The procedure was 2 minutes and then I continued laying down for 15 minutes. The doc threw us for a loop and recommended to transfer all 3. One of them was very underdeveloped so I guess he figured why not-it probably wasn't worth freezing. We have our little pics which are cute. So it's just resting for the next few days. I'm trying to be extra careful. Twhit-I'm sorry you got stuck with a huge bill. Coverage should be mandated in all states. It's just not fair. K8-I'm glad to hear you can finally make plans for the next cycle. Are you doing IUI this one? Newmommy-I'm glad to hear all the good news!! Especially the +opk!!! Keep on bding! Diem-hang in there, your next cycle will be here before you know it! Happy Easter!

question...DH has SA on Monday morning, so should we not bd until then or is tonight ok and lay low for sat and sun?

newmommy - April 7

TWhit---our work says to BD 3 days prior to SA, and then the next 2 days to abstain. So you should BD tonight and then no more until after SA. They usually like to have only 2-3 days of abstinence so they can figure out what his "normal" is. Good luck! I'm at work, but I'll write more later.

TWhit116 - April 7

Thanks Newmommy!!!

newmommy - April 7

No problem, TWhit! I hope all goes well! Sorry about the high bill. I also think insurance should all be required to pay at least partial of any infertility stuff. They should treat it like any other medical problem. NOT fair! Bina, it's so good to hear that all went well. I'm not surprised they decided to transfer all 3. Just think---you have your babies inside of you right now! K8, sorry 'bout AF, and sorry she's being such a b*tch! It is nice to know your plan though, huh? DH and I will definitely be BDing for the next 3 days! I already warned him! :-) Diem, thanks for the congrats! Yes, it is an earlier o than usual---which is nice! Sounds like you and I are close to the same cycle time right now. It's good that your body is still on normal schedule. I asked the nurses about getting an HCG trigger today since I got my +opk this morning. They said that since I already got a surge, then I don't need the trigger. I guess the LH surge is what triggers the release. So hopefully mine is strong enough to force the little eggie out this time! I feel good about it though. Last time I never was sure if it was a + or not. This time it was definite---both this morning and just now. So you know what my plans are this weekend!!!! :-) Gotta go for now---house guests!
