Ladies, I am SO sick! UGH!!! Has anyone else gotten this sick right after trigger? Or is it just a coincidence? I started feeling bad at about 5:00 last night, and by 6:00 I was throwing up (TMI!). I didn't even get to watch DH race---His friend's girlfriend drove me home to my parent's house. Last night, I couldn't even keep water down. Luckily, 7-up and crackers are staying down today. Everything is so sore, and the spot where I gave my shot hurts like hell if you touch it. Lucky, the shot wasn't Ovridel. I'm not sure what it is, but I'll look on the box later. I just had to inject 1cc from the vile of water into the vile of powder and swirl it around. DH and I are supposed to BD tonight and tomorrow---that oughta be interesting! Now, I have to get all my stuff packed back into the car, potty the pugs, and try to endure the 2 1/2 hour drive home. DH and I came over in seperate cars this time, so I have to actually drive home like this. Ugh! K8, so sorry about AF. Keep trying, girl!

Bina -- I am starting to get a little nervous about IVF since I start my protocol on the 17th of this month. What is the retrieval like? Does it hurt? What about the transfer? I am so edgy about things and pray to God it works. I can't believe we are spending 10k to just have a shot at getting pg. What a gamble. I haven't freaked out until now. I'm just so ready for this shitty chapter in my life to be over.

I've used the trigger shot a couple of times and never got sick like you got. Find out what it was that they gave you. I am so curious. Sounds like the stomach flu to me. It was going around here 2 months ago and people were dropping like flys with it. Throwing up for 24 hours and then it was gone. Hang in there. (((HUGS)))

Hi guys. Just wanted to say hi real quick before bed. We spent alot of money this weekend buying things for the house! Might as well get it all done before the baby comes (whenever that will be) 'cause then it's buying for the nursery! Newmommy-congrats on getting through the HCG shot. I think I might have taken the same as you. I think it's called Novaryl - I had to mix mine too! Mine I thought was a little painful and stingy, but a small price to pay. My shots start this Wednesday just with the Lupron. I'm very excited. Lucky-do not worry about the IVF process. It is not painful. Here was my experience at the RE's. We start the Lupron on day 21 of a cycle, then get AF. Go in for baseline u/s and b/w. A few days later start stims. Go in every other day for b/w and u/s. Once you are ready, HCG trigger and retrieval 2 days later. You are under conscious sedation (asleep) for about 7 mins total for the procedure. DH was allowed to be in there with me and got to see everything. I was not sore at all nor did I bleed. Then 3 days later transfer (just like an IUI) no pain at all. Then bloodwork for progesterone a week later then beta test a week after that. You might have some side effects from the stims...bloating, headaches, but not that bad. You take some extra pills too during different points of the cycle, but not bad. Let me tell you that it's a great feeling knowing that you have embryos in there. Let's just hope they stick. Going to acupuncture again tomorrow. When it gets closer we will time the sessions with the ER and ET. Well, sorry for the novel. Getting sleepy! BABYDUST to everyone!!

Hey guys, I have a question. I was recently prescribed Clomid to help conceive. I am supposed to take it days 5-9. Today, is to be my first night taking it. However, I'm still on my period. Is it ok to still take it and be on your period? Baby dust to all!!!

Lucky, I am here, just have been really busy this past week and haven't been on the laptop much in the past few days. DH and I are anxiously counting down until this cycle comes and goes so we can start ttc with the next one. We are hoping to be in the ttc club again sometime in june...we have no idea how long this cycle will be, let alone the one we will be able to try for a BFP....I am dealing better with the whole ordeal and am trying to focus on my business and not stressing over cycles/ttc/bding. I will try to be on more this next week and once things calm down at work.
It sounds like everyone is doing well and actively waiting for some BFPs to show up!!!!!!!!!! You are all in my thoughts and I really appreciate al the support and friendship. Babydust and happy sperm vibes to everyone! Be back soon.

pepesgirl, I am glad you are feeling better. I know what it's like waiting for that first AF. But it's nice not to have to worry and analyze everything ttc wise isn't it?

bina - May 7

girlnxtdoor-I always took clomid 3-7 so I was definitely still having AF. So I would say don't worry about it. Pepes-glad you are hanging in there. Check in with us when you need too. I hear you on not worrying about bding. I figure in doing IVF they control everything so it's nice not to temp and count your cycle days and all that. Well ladies got to get to work. Talk to you later
