Hi, I started taking my tamoxifen on the 28th Dec, I was on 60mgs on CD2-CD6. Sounds like alot, I know!! Just hoping it will work. No side effects at all, which is wonderfull, got really poorly and fat with clomid, so this is such a treat! Today is CD10, and I think I might be getting slight "O" cramps, but I don't want to get my hopes up too much! Would love to hear how you guys all get on. Baby dust to you all.

Hi Girls, Just a quick update from me. Sorry i've been offline. Af came as i suspected it was going to about 2 days ago so today i've started my 2nd month on Tamoxifen. I am on 40mg days 2-5. My doc says that they will monitor my blood at day 21 for these 2 months and see if my progesterone levels are high enough to allow my body to release eggs. After 2 months they will decide for me to either stop taking it if it's not working or to increase the dosage. They said that they will only allow me to continue on Tamoxifen for up to 4 months and after that they would refer me elsewhere for IVF as they cannot help. Lets hope things don't get that far! One side effect i have noticed from Tamoxifen that i didn't have with clomid was that my skin broke out in spots like i haven't seen in a long time, about a week or so before af was due.!
