Thanks Lynn! I am totally focusing on the weight # :( It doesn't help that my doc said that I have already gained everything that I should have throughout a 40 week pregnancy:( I can't even imagine carrying 40lbs of fluid on top of my weight gain. That must have been so exhausting and painful. But in the end...it is soooo worth it:)

So, I guess I had a nice OB as he told me not to gain more than 20 pounds the whole pregnancy (I am a fluffy person unpregnant). When I went over that number, he never said anything about it. I think I focused more than he did. His concern came when I had so many symptoms of preeclampsia he focused more on that. I was glad I only had symptoms and never had full blown preeclampsia. just take care of yourself and know it is all worth it in the end.

Happy Friday Everyone! Hope no one is superstitious on the this Friday the 13th... :o I haven't posted in a while so I thought I would take some time today. I will be 33 weeks next Tuesday. So only 6 weeks to go till delivery date on May 29th. That is when my c section is scheduled. I had one with Campbell so it was recommended again ,which is fine with me as there is less risk. I am going for weekly visits now as my BP has been up for the last 3 appts. Just slightly but enough that they want to monitor me more. The doc measured my belly yesterday and it is about 2 weeks ahead. But I don't expect a small baby in my family so that is probably the reason. Campbell was 8lbs, 4 1/2 oz and 21 inches long. I suspect this one might be greater. All in all I feel pretty good still. Sleep is not comfortable now but we all know how that goes in the last few weeks. We are busily getting projects finished at home and trying to finish the baby's room. My shower is not unitl May 5th which is a little late so I am trying not to buy anything until after. Campbell is involved in soccer right now and is constantly talking to the baby. I know she wonders if there is actually a baby in there. She will not sit still long enough to feel him move. We still haven't completely agreed on a name but I am pretty sure it will be Carson Hunter Smith. A compromise but it is all good. We are also taking Campbell to the hospital tomorrow as we signed her up for a sibling class. She will get a tour of the nursery, the hospital rooms where I will be and they will teach them a little about the process so it won't be overwhelming. I imagine her to be bouncing off the walls at first and then I'm sure jealousy will set in. I talk to her constantly about the surgery and what babies can and can't do. I think she has a good understanding but the real problem will be sharing mom! So I guess the countdown is on. I hope that everyone is doing really well. LYNN: I am glad that Sydney is doing better and I am sorry about the hospital stay. Must have been scary! When are your due to go back to work? Soon, I think, right? SO, just give up about the whole weight thing. It has totally frustrated me too. I try and eat healthy at least 75% of the time. I figure no matter what, it will take time to return to my previous body. I have lost count how much I have gained now. I am just trying to focus on a healthy baby and then I will worry about the weight. I feel your pain though! MEGA: Gosh everything is flying by for you too. I can't wait until your U/S to find out what you are having. I am voting girl! KOT: Thinking of you too and hopeing things are going well and you are on the rebound. Well I need to do some work today! Have a great weekend! I lost everyone's email as my computer crashed last week, so send me an email so I can get it in my address book again! carole dot r dot smith at wellsfargo dot com. Hugs to everyone! =

Okay Girls! I had to bump us up! We let our thread fall into non existence. Anyone still around for updates?? I hope everyone is well. 35 weeks today and finally in my month. 28 days to go until delivery. I am so excited to meet my little man! Everything is pretty much ready with a few exceptions. I have a shower this Saturday so there will be more to put away and wash. We are busy every weekend until the birth so trying to squeeze stuff in during the week too. I hope everyone is well! Would love an update! Take care!
