Katherine-how do the sticks work for you? Amanda- I did try the opk's also even though I got the sonogram on cd12. But my problem was I started testing on cd10 and it was 2 strong lines,again cd11 two strong lines, 12 same.. which is the day I went to the doc and he said I have 23mm about to ovulate.. So am I reading these all wrong? I thought you were supoosed to have a fainter line and 2 strong lines when you are o. I was going to try them again this month.. cant hurt right?! I hope we all have wondeful luck this month Katherine and Amanda, then we wont have to worry about silly opk's

I live in Georgia. When I was using the opk's I had a hard time deciding which day the line was darker it just made me feel better seeing two lines instead of not seeing anything at all I just figured after I seen two dark lines that it could be any day that I would ovulate.

We you both were taking clomid did you take it at night or in the morning? I am on day 3 of taking the clomid and my temp went up to 98.1 this morning from 97.5 I wonder what that means or if I should finish the other two pills for this month. I guess I am wondering if it will even do anything since they had me start on day 7 this month I thought that was weird.

Hey K i would finish my pills ... but that is what i would do ... i would call my doctor and also let her know about the temp thing... I dont chart my temps... my doctor says it is a waste of time.. so i leave it alone... plue i dont have the patience to do it.. lol... and i take clomid at night... reduces side affects to me... My doctor told me that when i take the last clomid on that day it should be between 10 to 12 days after before i ovulate... in may when i start clomid again ... im going to be having u/s done on cd12 of my cycle.. still waiting to have a period this month..usually start on or around 3rd... so shes running late.. as usual...lol lots of baby dust

Thanks your right I will finish them I guess I shouldn't worry about the whole temp thing I have heard that it is not always right.

Hey Amanda and K- I cant seem to get the whole temp thing under control, so I am glad you doc said it was a waste of time. When you guys ttc are we supposed to every day or every other day?

I have heard that you should do it every other day to maximize the sperm count, but I have also read that if the sperm count is normal you can do it every day if you want to. I have been every day only because I would feel like I missed a chance.

hey k i agree with doing every day... i would feel like i missed a chance too... or i might for days and take a brake then do it the next day again.. and cmarie .. my first doctor told me to chart my temps .. he was a man doctor.. and now i have a female doctor.. and she said it is a waste of time .. i believe that there is enought to do to and not having to take temps makes me very happy.. one less thing i have to remember .. lol..

Thanks Katherine and Amanda! Ok, without getting too presonal, do you start ttc every day after a certain day? Or do you just ttc every day for that entire month?

Well you really need to figure out when you usually ovulate so you know when to start trying. Unless you are irregular, I have been lately. People can ovulate anywhere from day 6 to 21 so its hard to say. I usually just start ttc after my period and I can tell once I have ovulated usually because my boobs start hurting. But I have also been doing the temp thing so when my temp rises I know that I ovulated. I am going to just start doing the opk's.

The problem is I cant tell now that I am taking clomid.. My boobs seem to hurt the whole time, and I have those little "twinges" as well. This is just making me so confused. I am going to shoot for the everyday thing though
