is there an appropriate sex position that will help me get pregnant right away? my husband loves the standing position and sometimes doing it in a bath tub. am i less likely to get pregnant with these positions?

i don't really think position does matters at all. no matter how you do it or where you do it for as long as you're fertile, you will get pregnant eventually.

sex in a bathtub will force water into your vagina and flush the semen. this will cut down your chances of getting pregnant, avoid doing that, it's not just a good idea!

I agree with jhinx, taking a douche simultaneous with sex won't help matters. Some say getting an assist from gravity could help, i.e. assume a position that will keep the semen inside as long as possible. I think timing is of the essence. Download the fertile days app and supplement that with a knowledge of signs of ovulation - cervical feel and position, fertile mucus, libido, ovulation cramp and as a last resort some temperature charting.

sex positions doesn't affect conception at all. for as long as you lay on your back and keep your hips elevated after sex, then that's it, you're good to go!
