so you are right behind me! yeah i hope i have some good follicles this month, last month i had one ok one, but my first month i had 2 great ones, so i am hoping this is a great month! do you get u/s too?

tko7 i did get u/s for my last cycle and did ovulate on it.but they called me today and said since i did respond to my clomid they were no use in coming in every month for a scan just wait and see if i get pregnant. if i get a positive pregnancy test i need to go in there to make sure it wasn't in my tubes.

i just had my u/s (everything is good!)they told me i need to come in for a scan but not necessarily for the blood test anymore since we know the clomid is working. so that is good news since i hate needles!
i hope we get our positives this month!!!

tonyaandjoe, why would they think that it would be in your tubes? did you have that happen before?
thanks, i just got a +opk so O is almost here! then it is on to the dreaded 2 week wait....

tk, i had a tubal reversal back in july of 06 and they said if i even thought that i could be pregnant, i needed to get in there to make sure it wasn't etopic.

oh ok, because it might be partially blocked? that makes sense then.

have you ovulated yet this month? because i think you are only like a day or so behind me, i am on cd 15.

hey ladies, just popping in to wish you luck. i did 6 months on clomid, which is really more than recommended. most docs don't like more than 4 months on it. i did 4 months with my ob/gyn, monitored with u/s. then i did 2 months with my RE and IUI (of course monitored). i responded great.....7 mature follicles on the 2 IUI cycles.....but no BFP. it did what it was supposed to as far as stimming, but also thinned my lining. i have since moved on to injectables (2 IUIs with them now) and love them a lot more. hardly any SE. clomid can be a great drug and lots of people have had great luck wtih it. it worked for me, but just no BFP. i hope it gives someone else one though! good luck

tk i am on cd 13. hopefully i will be pregnant this month. i can take a test on the 14 th which is my anniversary of 14 years. that would be awesome to find out on that day.

that would be a nice anniversary present wouldn't it! well, we have about 2 more weeks to wait and see! i think it will happen by 4 months though, i read that a lot of people get pregnant the 2nd and 3rd months on clomid, so hopefully we are in lucky 3!!

TK-my doc says that most women get pregnant the 3rd or 4th month using clomid and doing iui's because they are more relaxed and they know what is going on, which makes a little sense to me..lol..this is my 3rd cycle of clomid, but i had to take a 3 month break after the 2nd one because i got pregnant and it was ectopic. a week after i got a + hpt i started bleeding and then i started cramping so bad that i couldnt walk. i went in knowing it was ectoic and they did an endometrium biopsy and an hour later the results came back that there was no pregnancy in the uterus and i was told to come in and get methotrexate shots to terminate. so then i had to wait 3 months to try again and the is the first cycle since the termjination but the 3rd cycle on clomid so i am hoping that it worked this time. i guess that i will find out this weekend. i dont think that i am pregnant this time but we will see. good luck all

oh slowpoke, that is so sad. that must have been really hard. just haveing a regular m/c is hard. at least it sounds like you found out early enough not to cause any major damage though. so you will be testing this weekend if no af? good luck!
i am on cd 16 and awaiting an official sign of O (like a temp rise) i had 3 days of +opk so i am thinking today has to be the day! i am more relaxed about it all, especially compared to the first month. i still get anxious at times but that would be almost impossible to prevent!

hi tk07. i'm waiting with you (cd 17) i've promised not to test until 16th!! i've been an early testing nut on prior cycles. i must break the addiction! laugh. i know all the phantom symptoms so i won't be following them either. just got to find something fascinating to do for 13 more days!!

i know how you feel! when you get so close there have been so many times when i just say well, maybe i will just test to put my mind as ease... i haven't though! which is good because i would just be even more disappointed every month! i am on cd 17 now! i shouldn't test until the 18th or 19th though, if i don't start spotting beforehand like i usually do. good luck to us!!!! january is the lucky month!!!
