hey ladies, I thought I would pop in and give and update....I was seeing the fertility specialist, and it just became too expensive for us at this point and time. We are still actively ttc, but mainly without any help. I still have some refills left on my clomid, and I have been trying really hard to give my body a chance to regulate itself and hopefully get a fresh start ttc....Looks like I am going to have to go back on the progesterone though because I had a 4 week period (no not a type-o...4 weeks!!) and have not had one since that was back in the first week of may. So apparently my body doesnt want to do what it is suppose to as usual.....Other then that not much new here. Hope everyone is doing well = ) |

Question for anyone, I just finished my 3rd round of clomid in june. My cycle was not regular before I started clomid, but since I started I have been on a 33 day cycle...except for this month. I should've gotten my period on july 10, but haven't gotten it yet. I get a bfn when I took a hpt. So my question is can the clomid cause your cycle to regulate and to mess up???? |

Janelle- Yes the clomid has been known to mainly know to cause your cycle to be longer. If you are anything like me then here is how mine work on the clomid....I was never regular before clomid. first several months had to use progesterone just to get my period going. then it seemed for a few months that my period was regulating to where I would O around cd 17 and start my period cd 34. After a few months of that my periods seemed to become longer and longer, and as I said in my last I just had a large gap in between periods. I finally started mine on friday though...woohoo |
