Question about when to take clomid

I am on my 3rd cycle of clomid and up to 150mg. My doctor wanted me to take it on days 5-9. Which I did the first 2 times but this last time i started on day 1. I was so excited that I started I wanted to start getting things moving. So now it is day 2 and I realized I started it 4 days early. What will that do to me? Should I keep taking it or stop and continue on day 5? Help please

i haven't ever heard of anyone starting it on cycle day 1. usually women start it on CD 2, 3, 4 or 5. the earlier you take it, the more likely you are to have multiple follicles mature. the later you take it, the more mature they will grow. My RE has me taking in CD3-7. that doesn't really answer your question, but maybe it helps with some info. good luck
