Pregnant and on Baby Aspirin

I am 25 1/2 weeks pregnant. I have never had a pregnancy make it this long (I had 2 m/c's). I started taking baby aspirin since before I got pregnant this round only (I have PCOS) well my dr. wanted me to stop taking it at 24 weeks, which I did...But it is so hard bc I truly believe this is what kept this pregnancy going. Have any of you taken it and when did you stop. None of my tests showed blood clotting disorders, but he said it couldn't hurt to take it. Any advice? Should I start back up?

Well not exactly, when I asked if he was sure I should stop (lol) he said that there is evidence to back up both options. I was like oh thanks! How are you doing. I am good, just getting very anxious!

Evidence for both options? OMG, I would be going a little crazy wondering too. Have you been able to find any info on it online? I would be searching like crazy. I'm glad you're doing well, you're almost there so try not to stress too much. I'm 32 weeks now and the nausea is setting in :( I'm hoping nothing is wrong. I have a scan today- which I just love seeing the lil guy. Did you find out what you're having? What is your due date?

Clind-Thats great 32 weeks! I think I am just going to go by what my dr. said. Some women take it all through out pregnancy and then when they deliver its hard for them to stop bleeding. 32 weeks- That is when I have my next scan too :) We are having a little girl, and you? My due date is Jan 25th and I have my 1st shower on Sunday!! Other then your nausea how have you been feeling? What does your nursery look like?

Congrats on your little girl!!! Have you picked a name yet? We are having a boy, Luke. We have a little girl that is almost 2 so this will be our last. I just love going for the scans too. I went yesterday and my lil guy is 4 lbs 6 oz which is bigger than my daughter was when she was born! She was 4lbs 4 oz preemie born at 36.5 weeks so I really looking forward to a bigger baby this time- feedings are hellish on the tiny ones. Have a great time at your shower- don't let anyone make you wear the "ribbon hat"! I agree about the baby aspirin. I took it on the month we conceived and I ended up with a subchorionis hematoma (small bleed in uterus) and have wondered if that caused it. Of course I took the aspirin on my own without doctors advise so that was probably stupid. I'm sure your little girl will be happy and healthy. My nursery is non-existant! I have to get on dh to work on it this weekend. Is yours all done? What colors did you pick? Colleen

Colleen- I love the name Luke! Did you get your 3d picture? I can't wait to compare the differences in pictures! We are going to name her Kalina which is my maiden name (Kal-leen-a) and her nickname will be Kali. Wow your little man sounds like he is growing strong! My DH just finished her room. We are doing the lady bug theme from babierus. And we bought the decals and he painted like a mural type thing with hills and a sky :) The decals are my contrubution-wish me luck!

Kalina is a beautiful name! Yes, I love the 3d pics, I will get more at the 36 week scan coming up in November. They also gave us a cd for the pc at the 20 weeks scan. I'm wishing you tons and tons of luck and I just know that your baby will be absolutely perfect! Did you have a shower yet?
