YES!!!! I lost my right tube to an ectopic pregnancy in July of 2003 (the ovary was undamaged). Much to our surprise, we got pregnant again two months after my surgery and delivered a healthy baby boy! As long as you have at least one working tube and one working uterus, you can conceive!
Good luck!!!

I don't know how true this is but a women I work with knows someone who had to have on tube removed because of a cyst and the doctor told her that when she ovulated that the one tube would move and grasp the egg on both sides. I was surprised to hear that, but it does make some sense. I hope this helps.

How difficult is it to get pregnant with only one falopian tube. Is there any thing I can do to increase my chances. I have a five year old son and I am desperate to have another child ASAP, because of the age gap.

Hello...I am very worried. I am 31 years old and had to have the left falopian tube removed, due to a tubal pregnancy. The Dr. left the ovary flying. Don't know how this can happen.
I ADORE kids, and I want to get pregnant soon. What are my chances to conceive?? Thanks soo much!

Hi, I had an ectopic on my ovary, not in the tube as most do, and was told I would not conceive again, due to scar tissue on the other tube as well. Three months later I fell pregnant with twins. One went full term. I have been told that eggs from either side (if you still have both ovaries) can float up the one working tube, doubling your chances. Good luck

I'm 27, and I just lost my right tube because the doctors would not give an appt. before 10 weeks. After my husband rushed me to the emergency room my 7th week (first sign of blood) it was too big to save the tube. From now on, I am going to make sure I see a doctor ASAP. I have a c-section scar on my belly and the pain is unbearable. Does anyone know how long it will take to recover?
I am hoping the other tube is normal so that we can try again. My doctor said to wait 3 months. Is that long enough?

I am 42 and was told in January that one of my tubes was blocked and that I was not ovulatiing either.
Imagine my surprise and shock when I got pregnant naturally not long after that but did not know I was pregnant until 15th February as my periods are really irregular. Sadly I miscarried the baby at 5 weeks. I am now going privately to see a fertility expert as the NHS in Britain have been useless so far. They virtually told me I had no chance of having a baby naturally and yet I got pregnant so don't give up hope. I'm still hoping to have a baby naturally maybe with fertility drugs to stimulate ovulation as they say you only ovulate every other month with just one tube. Hope this helps?
