Pregnancy with one falopian tube

Infertility - February 25

I am 41 and had been trying to get pregnant for about 5 years now. After many tests I learned that I have a blocked falopian tube and a fibroid tumor. I just had a myomectomy which resulted in the removal of the fybroid tumor and removal of my right fal. tube. I am not a big fan of IVF, which is what has been suggested to me. Just wondering if anyone has been able to get pregnant naturally with one F. tube.

I haven't experienced it.But, I think if you have at least one fallopian tube then you can still get pregnant.Do,you have kids yet? At, 41 your chance of conceiving is much lower!

My mother in law got pregnant with one falopian tube and one ovary on opposite sides. She was going in for a hysterectomy when she found out that she was pregnant. It was truly a miracle from God. She has 4 children total.

Yes is the answer, i have endometriosis and have had one tube removed and the tube which I have left is partially blocked. I was told I would never have have children and IVF would not work as i have an incompetent uterus. I now have a beuatiful 2 year old boy.

I have one tube also, lost the other to ectopic 2 yrs ago. The 1st fertility specialist I saw offered me IVF also, which I didn't want. The 2nd specialist did a laparoscopy and found that my other tube was blocked. I'm now starting my first round of clomid. I believe that it will work for me. As far as I have been told as long as the tube is healthy, you should be able to get pregnant. My mother conceived with 1 tube....best of luck to you!

I had a fallopian tube burst about 12 years ago and it was removed. I also had 2 abortions within a couple of years afterwards. I would like to have a child in the next few years and would like to know if there is anything I can do now to help get pregnant then. I am 39 years old.

I've just found out that I'm pg and I've only got one tube. Have to go for scan wk7 to check it's not another ectopic. Goodluck.

I had an eptopic pregnancy about 3 1/2 yrs ago & I lost my right tube, I havent been on any bc at all and it has taken me this long 2 get pregnant (thats is if I am pregnant) im 4 days late and have all the pregnancy symptms but the hpt was neg. My dr said 2 wait another week then come in 4 a blood test. But yes it is verry likely for a woman with only one tube 2 conceve again, dont let it get u down keep ur head up and ur hope higher it can happen it happens all the time. I have read alot about this the past 3 1/2 yrs and heard many many wonderful stories of women just like us and they eventually got pregnant.
