Hey, wantababy2...My HSG was April 19th and my first positive home pregnancy test was May 2nd. So...it didn't take long at all. The first one was a VERY faint positive but then three days later was much darker. How long have you been ttc, if you don't mind me asking? We were trying for a little over one year.

Hi everyone, Like I told u pple last friday that i had an apptmt wth my doctor to show him d HSG xray result and he looked after it and gave me a good news that my tubes are ok and normal but i will be going 4 d blood test this coming thursday can anyone tell me if d amount of blood taking is always much and what that test is called.

Kate...In response to your question, I had blood taken around the time of my HSG for "hormone testing"...they took almost 7 of those little vials of blood, which is relatively a lot. Get used to it though...once I found out I was pregnant, they did a "pregnany panel" and did the exact same thing all over again...with more tests added. Good luck!

Thanks Babs, for ur encouragement. Are u now saying since after u did ur HSG and homorne test, u got pregnant? Secondly will like to knw if anyone has taking clomid and it caused hyperstimulated ovarian cysts and what did she do about it? please anyone can advice.

Kate...Yep...I had the hormone tests run about 3 months ago and all was "normal" and then I had the HSG done on April 19th and now I am 5.5 weeks pregnant~! So the HSG really must have boosted my fertility! The docs found no blockages or anything...but I think something must have worked! Any more questions, please feel free to ask. I never took Clomid...that was going to be my next step.

I am due HSG tomorrow and am a bit nervous but I want to be pregnant so badly after 5 yrs TTC. Babs.Congratulations and warmest wishes to you and your baby.

mathilda i take clomid and found out a month ago that i had a small cyst on my ovary but doc said it will go away on its own and it did so dont be scared i didnt even know i had it. by me taken clomid i ovulated for the first time so i think its worth it. also Babs did you get pregnant the same month as the hsg and what systoms did you have

Monique, yes, I got pregnant the same month as the HSG...which was just last month. I don't quite understand what you mean by "what symptoms did I have"...do you mean pregnancy symptoms or symptoms from the HSG? As for pregnancy symptoms, I have/had hunger...EXTREME hunger...haha...and I have been very exhausted and slightly dizzy from time to time. As for the HSG, I had moderate pain during the procedure but none afterwards...although I did "spot" off and on for two days. Any other questions, please ask! Good luck!

I had an Hsg in Dec 2002 and got pregnant a few days later. I didn't have any cramping or pain during or after the procedure. I'm hoping to have it done a 2nd time since we've been trying 8 months for #2

Hi ladies, Ive been reading all your comments about concieving after HSG and I have to say you all give me hope. I just had my HSG on April 25. It was alittle painful but the end result that my tubes were ok was all worth it. Im hoping I have a succesful story to tell you guys soon. Wish me luck and Good luck to you all too!!!!!!!!

This question is to all the woman who got pregnant right after the HSG.
What were your symptoms after ovulation and trying and before your missed period. Resulting in a positive test result.

Anna, I didn't have any symtoms of ovulation after my HSG. I just continued to have intercourse every day for the week after the HSG...and it worked! My early pregnancy symtoms very just extreme hunger and tiredness. Good luck!

I have some questions for you?? First off how are you doing? I too had an HSG 4-21 now I am in the critical waiting stage not due for AF until 5/15-5-16. Were you charting your temps?? And How many days before your AF did you get your BFP or did you wait until you were late?
