Pls help...will penicillin affect my ovulation cycle?

I tried to research on internet and stupid me forgot to ask the doctor today. I cme up with strep throat in last couple days and doctor ordered penicillin shots for me. I am supposely to start ovulating next couple days and been ttc for 6 months! Anyone know, should I not waste my time ttc?
