We've been trying to get pregnant for the last 5 months. Anyway, I have very regular periods (28-29 days) but it only lasts 2 days and is pretty light. Could this be a problem? I'm planning to call my doctor, but I was just curious.

Forgot to mention that I was on the pill for 7 years, but I stopped taking them at the beginning of this year. When I was on the pill, my period probably lasted 3-4 days, and when I stopped taking it, it was about 4 days for about 2 months. Then, it gradually went down to 2 days. The cramps starting coming on about 6 months ago, and I get them quite often throughout the month.

Thanks!

I too have very light af, first day light, med 2nd day and light/spotting 3rd day and found out I have a thin lining so I cant hold a pregnancy and need estrogen supps each month to thicken my lining. I suggest you speak to a doc and get an u/s done and see if that may be an issue for you. A light 2 day period is not normal so regardless of ttc or not I would go speak with a doc.good luck.
