Has anyone been having normal ovulation cycles and not gotten pregnant. My husband and I have been ttc for 1 year now. I have had 2 m/c. One in Feb. and one in May. I had a hysteroscopy and d&c done in July to have a polyp removed and have been ttc since August. I have been using the opk and have had my progesterone checked which showed that I am ovulating. Just confused as to why I got pregnant so easily before and having such problems now after the last surgery. Is it true that if you have too many d&c's, you could have problems getting pregnant. Please help!!!

Hi Nicole,
Just wondering if your progesterone levels are high enough to be maintaining a pregnancy? as you mention they were looked at to check for ovulation and nothing else. My Progesterone levels are 2.0 under borderline levels which my doctor (G.p not fertility expert) says is fine. BUT, I am ovulating normally according to my charts . I have my suspicions that there is a progesterone issue as since charting and TTC for 1 year, I have discovered I have a short luteal phase of 11 days which may coincide with the low/borderline levels of progesterone and a chemical pregnacy. Maybe surgery has interferred with your homone levels and by charting you or your fertility specialist may have some more insight .

My progesterone was checked 7 dpo and all I was told was that I had some sort of ovulation and that my progesterone level was normal. As soon as I get AF, I am to make an appointment to do further testing. I am not sure what all they will do. I did have my LH level checked which showed that it was slightly elevated. My RE said it was nothing to worry about. Hopefully I will find out something soon.
