Hi ladies - got back from my conference in Nashville. It was fun, learned lots of good stuff and am trying to get as much done these next few days before we leave for Hawaii. Can't wait to relax! Sorry to hear af for you Rachel, sounds like you have a good attitude about it. Here's to lots of vacation babies for everyone!

cromwell - March 28th, 2007 4:37 PM

Hi all. Looks like I am headed for af too. Hope we had caught those eggs but I knew it was a long shot. I guess we start over again next cycle. I paid off the credit card for the last round. Rachel, that was a tremendous response to the meds last time. I am worried that I would not make enough if we did IVF. Dana and Meme, your trips sound awesome! I only got to go as far as Memphis! :) Stacie, when do you start your next cycle for IVF or are you already? Kristi, what is happening with you? Laurie

I hope to start my next cycle on the 7th or so, but it will depend on the bw. Hope it is finished in time.

Hi all, I just wanted to check in... We've been doing some home renovations and our house is upside down, so it's been busy around here. Rachel and Laurie, sorry to hear that af showed for you both..crappy. :( Vacations sound like the right thing to do though! Wow Dana..what a great one you have planned - definitely jealous! We too are leaving for a quick getaway to Vegas tomorrow. I'm in dire need of clothes that fit, so I hope to hit some maternity factory outlet stores while we're there. We get to return to MORE home renos..oh well, it's all good. I'm 17 weeks now and am feeling well. Karen, my morning sickness (well, ALL day sickness) lasted from around week 6.5 to week 10-11, so you're likely on your way to feeling good very soon! Thinking of you all, and hoping that whatever you're doing, that it brings you peace and success!

Hi ladies...Good to see you back KarenK, I am getting so jealous of all you going on vacations! I just went on a cruise in Jan, but I sooo ready for another vacation! Meme, when do you leave for Hawaii and where are you going? I went about 2 years ago with a girlfriend and we had a great time....so want to go back, this time with dh! Dana - 3 weeks!! Wow....I cant even imagine, I only get 2 weeks a year of vacation, so the only time I will get longer will be on maternity leave! When do you go? So I got pics of some of you from Rachel...it is really cook to be able to put a face to a name! By the way Rachel, still was not able to open the one of Meme, not sure why.... ;-) Well, I went to RE this morning and had my midcycle sonogram....I have one good follicle that is 22mm and few smaller ones, so I do the Ovidrel trigger tonight and we go in Sat morning for the IUI....so that is where we are at right now....for some reason work just seems to be super busy, so I will check back as I can. Everyone take care!

Hi guys - Kristi - lots of luck Saturday am - how exciting! Seems like everything is ready for a bfp! Tracy, I hope you are doing well - I know this is a tough time being so pregnant. I imagine you are ready for May to arrive! Natasha, dh and I are going to Vegas in May (I have a buyers market) I love Vegas. I was feeling sorry for myself last week so we nixed the "reasonable" show hotel (Hilton) and moved to the Venetian! That made me feel a little better! Laurie - how goes it? Any news?? Stacie - you are so brave and so inspiring! I hope this next cycle the last one for you! Now, I'll make you guys laugh. Af stated last Thursday and finished by Monday - pretty normal for me. Well, this am I felt so sick to my stomach - I promptly serached online for instances where you can be pregnant and still have a period. What do I do - of course - run straight to the bathroom to poas! I would only tell you guys because it is so ridiculous - of course - it was bfn. Apparently I ate my bowl of cerel too soon after my yoga class. I swear - talk about desparation! lol!Rachel

Hi Everyone. Sorry for the delay between posts. Instead of getting better, the morning sickness seems to have taken a turn for the worse. I am really dragging now. And, I have this horrible taste in my mouth all of the time. I can't really describe it, other than it feels like really bad breath, only 10 times worse. I have read a bit about it on the internet, and some women complain of a metallic taste, but I can't really say that this is metallicy. Natasha, thanks for giving me some hope that this will end soon. Somedays, I have my doubts. Oh well, I do feel a bit strange complaining here when I know so many of you want to be complaining right alongside me. But don't worry, I'll listen to you complain in the next months ahead! Rachel, I loved your story. I think it is so fabulous that you can still laugh at this stuff! Have a great time in Vegas! And Laurie, so sorry to hear AF is on her way. I admire your determination to jump in there and do it all over again next cycle. Same with you Stacey, you are a hero to me, and I want this next cycle to be yours so much. Did you get any results back from the repeat m/c tests? Dana, your trip is coming up so soon now! Have the best time ever. We will miss hearing from you. Tracy, Kristi, Meme thinking of you guys too.

baby1234 - April 1st, 2007 2:03 PM

Hi ladies. Hope you all are well. Af should arrive on Friday. I can't wait to get this show on the road. It looks like all of the bloodwork but the chromosome analysis is back. They originally told me it would take 3 weeks to get the results. Now the drs office is saying 21 working days. Every place I've checked online has said it takes 1-2 weeks for the results so I don't know what is up. They won't tell me the results from any of the other tests until everything is in. Well, I guess they'll have to tell me when af arrives. On another note, my stomach has been feeling strange for the last few days. Yesterday, I had this weird pulling sensation at my belly button...it would be nice if I was able to get pg on my own, but for my sanity, I am not counting on it. It is just one of those strange things going on with me. Anyway, sorry I've not posted much. I will post again later. Stacie

cromwell - April 1st, 2007 3:22 PM

Stacie, I hope everything checks out okay. It would be awesome if you got pregnant on your own. Af came for me, so we start again Monday--not a surprise after that last disaster, but one always hopes some miracle has occurred. Bring on the shots, I say! Tracy, Natasha, and Karen, I hope all your babies are doing great. Kristi, good luck with this IUI. Dana, Meme, Rachel, have fun on your trips. After this cycle, I may quit posting but will keep in touch with some of you through Rachel. A friend of mine is coming tomorrow night--I would not be surprised if she tells me she is expecting #2 at 39. My friends are all trying to spare my feelings and I am just happy for them (yes, a little envious at times). Anyway, have a great week everyone! L

baby1234 - April 1st, 2007 3:54 PM

Laurie, sorry about af. What does this cycle look like other than starting on monday? I am wishing you the best this cycle. Stac P.S. I am sorry to hear you're thinking about no longer posting. I sure hope we can keep in touch through emails!

baby1234 - April 1st, 2007 3:55 PM

Speaking of emails, Rachel, can you resend me all of the pics? Computer crashed and lost a lot of stuff, including pics and emails. Stac

Kristi1 - April 2nd, 2007 10:24 AM

Laurie, sotty about AF...I hope you stay around and visit with us when you can! My IUI went well on Sat...however, I am concerned that I possibly O'd on Friday...I had horrible pains that started Thursday evening and lasted all day Friday and then some into Sat but not as bad...so I am wondering if this one will work or not. I guess I will know in 2 weeks huh...Well, another extrememly busy week awaits me here at work and at home, so I will check back as I can...Hope everyone is doing well, and those that are going on vacations, have a great time!!!

baby1234 - April 2nd, 2007 11:28 PM

Waiting, waiting, for the blood results (sing to that kids song "Sailing, sailing, over the ocean blue, when days are hot, when days are cold...). That is all that is up here.

baby1234 - April 2nd, 2007 11:34 PM

Kristi, I hope this cycle is the one. I have also had the ovulation pains before procedures and have been totally freaked by them. Asked the doctor about them once, and he said that the pains happen just as often before ovulation as during or after. I vote that your pains ocurred before...sound good to you? Hope the busy work week is over before you know it (along with week one of the tww!). My week looks busy too. We are getting ready for spring break so the kids are going bonkers and practically climbing the walls. Oh, spring in junior high is sooooo much fun. To everyone else, I hope you all are doing well and having fun taking and preparing for the vacations. Take care all. I'll check back in tomorrow. Stacie

Tracy88 - April 3rd, 2007 8:46 AM

I was also having pains the day before I went in for my first IUI, which was a Saturday, but still went in on Sunday morning for the IUI, and the Monday morning. Let me tell you.....Monday morning was when I was REALLY ovulating. The pain was MUCH stronger and sharper than the two days prior. I've been reading and trying to keep up with all of you, don't think I have forgotten about you. Chins UP!!!!

Georgiatoo - April 3rd, 2007 3:05 PM

Hi guys - Laurie - where are you going? Have you found another group of ttc's you like more that us?? Are you tired if us?? sniff, sniff? Say it isn't so? Stacie, any results back yet? I'm still sure they will be fine, but it would be nice to have it on paper. Karen, I'm so sorry that you are feeling so rough. Don't worry about talking to us - it's nice to have pregnant people around giving off all those pregnant vibes!! I hope you feel better soon - that bad taste in the mouth thing sounds pretty crummy! Tracy - I'm assuming things are quiet down in FL? Just hanging out in bed for another month or so? Me - my little machine says I'm high fertility this week - the stupid injectables really screwed up my cycle so I don't really know what is going on. Bitter? Yes, that would be me. However, this is funny. I remember back in 2005 when I bought my little ovulation machine thing - it took me weeks to work up to spending the $200! How funny is that! Little did I know that was just a drop in the ol' infertility bucket! Anyway, I hope everyone is enjoying today - pregnant or not pregnant! I must say I've been in much better spirits lately - it's been a long road, but I'm working on getting back to life BEFORE I started obsessing about having a baby! Rachel
