Hello All,

I was diagnosed wit endometriosis July of 2007. I had laparoscopic surgery in October of the same year. After the surgery was put of a prescription drug called Lupron to ensure that any little cyst were kept dormant. The Lupron medication stopped my AF and I did not have a period until May of 2008. In that month I started Clomid, 50mg on days 5 to 9. After four cycles, I still was not pregnant. I back to my doctor and he increased my intake of Clomid to 100mg on days 5 to 9. I took 100mg in September 2008 and waited. I did not receive any period this month. I went back to the doctor again and told him my AF has not arrived. I took two hpt and two at the doc. All came up negative. He has not started me on Provera to bring AF back. So I can start cycle six of Clomid. I hope I get pregnant soon. It is so heartbreaking each month seeing AF come. I hope the best for everyone.

hi, i'm so glad to have found this thread. we have been trying now for over a year. i had got pregnant on the 2nd cycle after i stopped taking BCPs, then miscarried at 9 weeks. we started ttc again in Feb, and nothing yet. after the dnc i started spotting 7 days before AF for every other cycle. after being put on progesterone for about 4 months, my doctor put me on clomid 50mg on days 5-9, and i continued with the prometrium 200mg but vaginally. i had a lot of the symptoms everyone was explaining above. i took a hpt the day before my expected period and got a neg. now i'm 3 days late. took one again this morning. not sure if it was an evap line or a very faint positive. but still no AF. i'm glad to know that at least it is common to be late. i'm 100% of the time 28 days on the dot. but i do uysually spot a couple days before. there was no spotting this time. i do know that i ovulated. can this still happen even if you ovulated? do you think that this "evap" line that i saw may have actually been positive? i don't know what to do, at this point, i wish something would just happen. thanks in advance. k

since i know that i like hearing what happens after people post, i just wanted to update and say that while i have not yet received my AF, i did get a truly unmistakeable bfn. so hopefully i'll get my period soon and then we can try again! while clomid does have side effects, i think that if they're bearable (which mine def were), it's totally worth it. good luck to everyone who reads this :):)

Hello, I am new here and I guess that I am in the same boat with everyone else. I am on my first month of clomid days 5-9 and I am now 17 dpo. I have taken 2 digitl HPT's and BFN :(( I have never been late before. My Dr wont see me until next week and I am literally going crazy, ive had multiple mood swings and uncontrollable crying. I have been TTC for 14 months now and it seems like clomid is making everything worse. Some words of encouragement would be nice. Thanks

Hi Tinksmommy, welcome here.... :) did u take the pregnancy test??? maybe u r pregnant thats why u r having such mood swings. by the way if u r taking clomid u also face mood swings too bcoz of clomid... so if ur pregnancy test is negative then u should wait till u go to see ur doc... i know how u must be feeling its really frustrating period of time just relax and have patience... and hope for best dont lose hope... baby dust to u.... tc

Thanks fungirl, my period came last night and for the first time I was actually happy to see AF. I was so stressed not knowing, now I can start my 2nd cycle of clomid. I guess that I ovulated late, I will definitely be keeping better track this cycle.
Thanks agian and Baby Dust 2 all!!

I have been ttc for a year now. I have been on clomid for 2 months. Before clomid my periods were very irregular, coming 35-48 days. I had some test and The doc said I have PCOS. Firts round f clomid put me back in range with a 34 days cycle. YAY! Doc said that was good. This time around I am going on 37 days so far witha negative test. For me my regular period symtoms are all also pregnancy symtoms!! THIS SUCKS! I have a doc appt thursday to get bakc on clomid for teh 3rd time.... This ttc stuf is frustrating after a year!! Even though i had a neg test I am reallly hoping the doc tells me I am prego on thursday!!! Has anyone whose been on clomid with irregular periods.... gotten back in range with your period and then outof range again??? I just expecte dmy period to stay regulated while on clomid.... Oh one more thing... I did have a 21 day progesterine test done 2st time and it was like 11.4, in range.... These forums really help to read.... even though they are repetitive it just helps to know I am not alone!! I wish you all the best!!!

Hi, I'm new here & I have several questions. I have PCOS and I have been TTC for a while now. I started out with the Provera to make me start with clomid on scheduled days. After a few months of this, I started on my own without the use of Provera (yaay me!) and my doc said that that means I am indeed ovulating. This has continued regularly for 4 months now. These last 2 months I have been on 100mg of clomid. My LMP was 9/23, (which my cycles for the last 2 mos have been 31 days) estimating ovulation & schedule did everything the same. (And I also take Metformin 3x daily). Now .. I have not started yet and we are on day 38 today .. one week after I should have started. I have had cramping like I'm going to as well as lots of CM for 2 weeks now. I have contacted my OB after taking several HPT ... all reading negative. My nurse suggested blood test & possible u/s to see whats going on for sure. But, now today when I called to find out what was up after not being contacted, they called back to say ... 'start provera again' ... in the mean time I have to say that I am very frustrated with the fact that they aren't doing any test or anything to make sure that there isn't more going on. I can't say that I 'feel' pregnant, because I don't really know what that feels like. (my dtr is now 6 & i conceived on my own & had no clue i was pregnant until almost 8 weeks when tested). All I do know, is that I don't feel normal. Normal being, the same that I have felt the past four months doing the same procedures. Help! Any ideas? Other than switching OB's (heavily crossing my mind). Thanks for listening!!

Hello everyone, I had a miscarriage in 2005 due to fibroid tumors destorting my uterus. After three years of trying off and on, I decided to go to an infertility doctor. She wants me to try 100mg Clomid on days 5-9. I start Nov. 1, 08. I am so afraid that the fibroids will cause another miscarriage. Has anyone experienced this?

Hi everyone. I'm so glad I found this thread! Denice35, my dr put me on crinone gel for the days after "trying" to increase progesterone and help my body sustain a pregnancy. Very expensive, but there's a generic too. Maybe since you've already had one miscarriage, your doc would consider it??
I just finished my first unsuccessful cycle of clomid 50mg followed by the crinone. My period is now 5 days late. So glad to hear I'm not alone in this very frustrating process.

Hey everyone! I'm 27 and have been ttc for only a short while (3 months). I had my son in March of 2008 and he was a total suprise. No problems at all with getting pregnant and the pregnancy was uneventful. We want them close and are trying to conceive but I haven't been ovulating. I just finished provera and my 1st round of clomid. I have PCOS and am also on Metformin. Just wanting to talk to people and see if they have any advice or suggestions. Also wondering what a couple of abbreviations are...DH? BD? :) thanks guys! Good luck to all!

Hello everyone. Been TTC for several months now. My first pregnancy happened naturally but since then been having hard time with #2. Started on Clomid 50 mg days 3-7 and now AF late. Took PT and it is negative. My progesterone level on day 21 was at 22 which I was told is good. Frustrating to read so many comments of late AF with Clomid. Hate false hope. I am having all sorts of signs of AF (cramping, nausea, fatigue) but trying not to get my hopes up. Does anyone have a similar story? Like to also hear from people who got PG with Clomid and how long it took, unusual symptoms, when best to take PG test. Thanks in advance for any input.

hi gals, i have been ttc for 2 and half years now.  i have pcos and very irregular periods.  i had a miscarriage last year june at about 6 over weeks.  after tt i have been unsuccessful.  Have been on clomid on and off.   everytime i take clomid i definatly ovulate but just can't get pg.  this is my 4th cycle and i ovulated on cd12.  did all we could from cd 11-17.  now i am at cd19 but no period.  my breasts just started feeling quite sore and sensitive frm cd17.  pregnancy kit still shows negative.  the first time i got pregnant the kit showd my pregnancy within 7=9days of conception.  so does it mean that the next time i get pg, i will have the same high hcg level as the 1st experience.  i am very frustrated and confused.  i don't know if i should stay positive or if i should not have my hopes too high.  smeetimes i get so paranoid that i keep taking pregnancy tests everyday just hoping to see double lines each time but always disappointed. my husband always tells me to relax and don;t get so stressed up but i just cannot help it.  I know tt getting stressed up is only gg to decrease my chances of gettg pg but i can't help it.  someone pls help me and tell me how i can relax or not get so stressed up so that all the clomid i am taking will not go to waste each and everytime.

I have been taking Clomid for two months now. I am now four days late. My cycle is normally very regular but we started the Clomid becuase the lenght of my periods were very long and irregular. I took a HPT the first day I was late and also the next day both were negative. I am extremely moody, sore breasts, and very tired. My Dr wants to see me if I do not have a +HPT by Monday. I have been driving myself crazy searching the internet to see if this is normal. Any suggestions?
