Hi SaintRose, did you ovulate strongly? by that I mean, did you get a progesterone reading around 5 days after you Oed? I had 1-2 follicles but my progesterone level was 48 which means I ovulated very strongly so I'm staying on my same same dosage this month as I had last month. .... 50mg. If your progesterone wasn't over 15 for a medicated cycle - then you would need a higher dose to try to get those numbers higher. Does that make sense? I would stay on the directed 100mg if that's what your doctor ordered... It won't hurt you. Sounds like you're being monitored so I believe you'll be fine. You may just have more follicles this month. Lots of luck to you!

Oh and I meant to say that I go ahead and start the 100 tonight. Don't take the extra 50 from yesterday though. Just don't worry about yesterday!

Thanks, no the doctor has not done progestone work on me.... she doesn't seem that involved.. but I know that I have low progestone.. I have had 2 mc due to that... so I take suppositories to help. So you think it will be okay to start taking the 100mg now, even though I only took 50mg last night? Thanks again

Hi again! Well since you have low progesterone I wonder why your doctor doesn't monitor that better. Do you take anything during the follicle stage? any vitamins to help w/ progesterone? I've heard and read that B6 is a great source for inducing natural progesterone. I took it last cycle and I have to wonder if that's why my level was so high. It's typically only in the high 20's and it was 48. My dr would probably disagree so I haven't mentioned it, but maybe you should do some reseach. I took 100mg of B6. I take some other stuff too, but B6 is supposedly good for progesterone.

Yes I take 100mg of B6 everyday. Sorry to hear about your mc's. If I get preggy from this medicine, it will be my 1st baby. How about you?

Sounds like you're on top of it! I would definitely ask for a progesterone test this month... How will you know if 100mg was enough? I've read the higher doses that you take just leads to more breakdown of your lining. Who needs that. You would take schedule your b/w for 5 days past O. I wish you the best... I'm trying for #3. I have a 12 yr old dd and a 4 yr old dd. I have been trying to #3 for almost 3 years. Sometimes I feel terrible for saying that I have children when I know how hard girls like you are trying for #1. Hang in there. Have faith and always stay positive!

I believe that the progestrone test results would be altered, due to the fact that I take the progestrone suppositories right after ovulation. If I don't take them immediately I will mc again. So I think the levels would be higher due to the suppositories.

Oh I guess i didn't realize that it masks your natural progesterone reading.... I'm scratching my head now :) Good luck to you this cycle. I'm about a week ahead of you I guess. I'm on CD8 and it's dragging. I'll O around CD19 (same as you). Hopefully we'll catch up during the 2ww!

Hey Pmblake...I was looking for you...How are you doing? I did my first IUI last Friday, DH had great swimmers and lots of them. I'm still doing the HCG shots and now Im on progesterone. I stopped taking my temps it was just stressing me out! What are you doing???
