i hope it happens soon for you too. a woman huh? were the men that bad ;) i'm just messin with ya, i don't care, whatever floats your boat. do you work?

They did one at 18 because I was in severe pain 24/7 bad enough I would have to go to the ER b/c I thought I would pass out from the pain. Then they did u/s and found what looked like 2 cysts in my uterus they were scared it was cancer. Thank God it wasn't.That and I have a family history of it and I litterally begged the dr/ to do it. I needed some sort of answer. But I had to go to 5 different dr.'s before I found one that would do it. There are a lot of qwacks out ther I have been to quite a few. Yes i am 22. We are using a donor. It's kind of neat though I am using a Mexican donor b/c she is Mexican he even has her blood type. But let me tell you that stuff ain't cheap.

does your insurance cover it or are you guys paying out of pocket? that's neat that they have the same blood type. do you guys get to see the men's pics and everything when your picking them? how fun.

greeneyedgemini616 - May 11

We didn't get to see his pic just know his features. They have the same features that's why we picked him. When I did my first IUI they told me at my dr.'s that most vials after being thawed have a sperm count of about 10 million mine came in at 85 million after they diluted it twice. They were amazed so i don't know why I didn't get pg. And yes my ins covers most of the blood work and u/s and the meds but I lose it next month so it's about to get REAL expensive if I don't get preggo this month I am so hoping. I will do everything in my power. I did call my RE to and asked about the baby aspirin and they do recommend that you take it everyday just to help out the cm.

baby aspirin huh. i wish i had dr. like that to give me good tips. mine are just a**holes. i will pray for you to be preggo this month. my hb and i are wanting to do iui's. my insurance only covers 50% of infertility services so i will be paying out the a** for the rest. are they expensive? well i'm sure it's different for every state and insurance comp. we want to do ivf but that's about ten thousand through my hospital, so we would be paying 5 g's. but it would be worth it. i wonder if they would take payments for it. how funny. sounds like we're financing our kid.

What ins do you have? My. dr. charges $230 every IUI and then another $45 for the sperm prep. But let me tell you that last one I had hurt like a B****. I cramped for like 5 days after and even had some spotting so I wished it took I didn't want to go through that again. I had to take out a personal loan because I couldn't pay for it in cash. But most fertility places do have a financing program but the interest rate is ridiculous. So I just got my own. So far it's been $3000.00

Oh yeah. I am lucky to have a dr. like I do. She is really cool b/c she is also les. and she has gone through this with her dp. I have her personal line so I usually call and bug her a couple time a week. When I found out that I got a BFN I called her and was hysterical. She laughs when she talks to me b/c she says I worry to much. But she is really cool. They will do just about anything I ask them to.

OH MY GOD, THAT IS CRAZY. $3 G'S!!!! i have kaiser insurance. they gave me a list of what things will cost, i just have to find it again. the iui kind of sounds like the dye test catheder being stuck up inside your uterus. that hurt bad for me. i couldn't move and the nurse told me to lay down and asked if i was okay. i just glared at her. so they had to pull me down. it was horrible. and they wouldn't let my mom go inside with me. i wonder if you didn't make your payments if they would come take your kid.

my husband has providence but it would cost 200. a month to add me to it and that doesn't have any coverage for infertility services. so that's pointless. at least mine covers 50%

i do have cramps throughout the month before my period. but not bad enough that i can't handle them. is that normal. i've been having cramps in my ovaries all week, i figure it's cuz i'm going to o. but nothing so far. what do you do for aliving??

greeneyedgemini616 - May 11

Keep in mind $1800.oo of that is for the donor. That's what most expensive for me. Some dr.'s will bill the blood work under diagnostic so the insurance doesn't know that it is for infertility treatment. My blood work has been like 2 g's by itself but the ins. paid for that/

sounds like you have cool doctors. i have one of those but my insurance doesn't cover him. we just went and saw him anyways then got a bill in the mail for 400. just for an office visit and check up.

So I think you know my story about why I think I am pg even though I keep getting BFN. I showed my mon my nipples (how funny) because I don't want to think I am crazy plus my dp says something is just not right. So my mom looked and right away said those are nursing boobs. How are you not pg? Those look like my bbs when I was pg and nursing. I just don't know.
