Hey everyone. I hope you don't mind me starting a new thread, but the other one took ages to open up on my pc. Yesterday was me and dh's 4th wedding anniversary. It was a public holiday, so we had the whole day together. We went for lunch at a beautiful botanical garden underneath Table Mountain. It was great. Elyse, so you're officially in the 2ww again. Good luck. It sounds as if everything looks good this time, so I'm sure you'll get your bfp soon! Ann, how did you u/s go? I hope you got good news and that you have alot of good follies. Nata and TL, how is the 2ww so far?

Good morning Elizabeth.
I did what I was not suppose to do....Started testing. I am due for blood test this Fri. 5/5 so today is 11days post IUI. I was really hoping for a BFP on the EPT test, but only got BFN yesterday and now today...It's either too early, or I am not pg. I am feeling kind of bad today.

Elizabeth, I am glad you had such a nice anniversary! How are you doing? Did you have your RE appt to discuss the hows and whys of your ivf cycle and how to proceed?

HI Nata, how are you? The u/s went well. I have 2 14mm follies on the right and 1 14mm on the left and one 11mm on the left. So I will have at least 3 and maybe 4 by iui time. The dr still thinks he will trigger me on Wednesday and have iui on Friday. I may try to take the day off, but I am not sure if that will be possible. I weighed myself last night, and I haven't gained, but my pants are tight in the waist. He said my ovaries are "distended." I am wearing some pants today that I bought one size to big (so they would be long enough), and they are even tight! When does this go away??? I hope it goes away soon after I start the meds. I don't have to do any more Menopur--yea!!!

Hi everyone. Elizabeth, what a wonderful anniversary that was. When will your new cycle start? Ann, 3 or 4 follies is perfect! Why are you so bloated? TL - hang in there, I know how tough this is. Nata, My memory is shot - where are you in your cycle today? My ovaries are still very large and i have not been able to go back to the gym, so fo course I m feeling very bloated and large. The pain has subsided a bit since yesterday, but still hurts quite a bit to move around. If I get a BFP, though, it ill have been worth it! For some reason, I feel so much better than the last 3 months. I just feel a very positive energy. I hope I'm not delusional.

Elyse, I think I may be more bloated, because I have been on the meds for longer. Last time I did 23 shots total (including 2 hcg shots). Now, I have done 33 shots so far and will have at least 2 more tonight, one in the morning, and 2 triggers. I am glad you are feeling better physically and great mentally! TL, good luck to you as well. 11dpiui is still pretty early. I hope you get a BFP soon!

Thanks, I do feel better physically. WOW - that's a lot of shots. I took 22 this cycle, including my trigger. I felt so different on these meds than on Repronex. I had dizziness, fatigue, nausea and headaches. But that's the life of a fertility chic!

I can't wait to find out what it feels like to not have ttc as my main focus in life!!

I hear you! It will be nice when the main focus is what color to make the nursery.

Anything but ttc would be a nice focus...

TL, I totally understand why you couldn't resist, and tested, but it is definitely way too soon. So don't give up hope yet. I've heard of people who only got the bfp on 15+ days past IUI. Maybe Friday you'll get your bfp. Elyse, I'm skipping this month, and taking a breather and giving my body a rest. So my next ivf cycle will start in June. Ann, those follies sounds excellent! My 'post-mortem' (lol) appointment with the RE is on 05/18, so I'll know then what went wrong. Hope everyone has a great day today!

I am praying it's there.
My nips started hurting last night, then today just fine...How odd. I am hoping it's a case of appearing then disappering symptoms that are common in pg.
