Nata, I still have to get more info about ths shots when I have the class on the 28th, so I am not sure what the regimen will be. I do know I am going to take Lupron that they dilute at the RE's office as well as Menopur.

Hi Elyse. I am excited for sure. I was pissed about 30 minutes ago, because the nurse was telling me that I had to take BCPs for a month, etc. When I talked to the RE on Monday he had told me BCPs for 2 weeks (i.e. not skipping a cycle). The communication at the RE office leaves a lot to be desired...what is new with you? How was your vday?

Ann, I try not to analyze/study the side effects, otherwise, I start "feeling" everything. During the shot period, I didn't have any pain. I don't think I had any side effects at all --- I can't really tell if I was moody or not (LOL). As I was overtimulated, I had LOTS of pain (after the hcg shot only). This time I'll take a lower dosage of Follistim (shots) to avoid the overstimulation. Did your dr tell you anything about side effects?

Absolutely nothing new with me, but more waiting. I will test on Monday morning, not Sunday - dp hates when I test, so I won't do it on the weekend. Vday was awesome. I made dinner. Champagne and fruits and cheeses for starters. Then shrimp cocktail followed by Filet Mignon and lobster tail with sauteed spinach and baby carrots - accompanied by a wonderful Saint Emillion Bordeaux. Giant chocolate dipped strawberries for dessert. YUM! Everyone else have a nice Vday?

Everyone that you for your support. Elyse, you had me laughing with what you wrote. I hope your right and that this is a good sign. I will test tomorrow, not today, because I heard first morning urine is the best. Ann, the only shot I did was Ovulex in my stomach. My dh did it and I didn't feel a thing. Maybe because I do have more than an inch in pinch. lol. But I just got a bit anxious and worked myself up for nothing. I was having some spasms in my leg, but my doctor said it was stress related. I believe so. I can't believe your doctors are telling you different things to do. I would be pissed off about that. They should be treating you a lot better then that. Elyse, sounds like you made a great dinner. You can cook for me anytime!! Umm Umm good. I hope you get a BFP along with everyone else that's almost at the end of their 2ww. Elyse, which chateau was your wine from? St. Emilion is my favorite town in Bordeaux!! It is amazingly beautiful and, of course, surrounded by vineyards. Your dinner sounds awesome! Nata, my dr hasn't told me any side effects. I never have problems with moodiness when taking anything ever, but I hope nothing causes major stomach upset or something!! I will let you know when it says the side effects are when I get the drug info sheets. How many follicles did you get on your first cycle of follistim?

Ann, it was a 2000 Bertinat Lartigue. I called my brother while i was in the store b/c I have no clue about Bordeaux and the last one I tried was a bomb! This was perfect with filet.

Cristina....do you have good news for us? I'll be sitting on the edge of my seat until you post. Ann, this was my very last IUI try. If it doesn't work, I'll go and see an RE next month after we return from holiday, and hear what he has to say. But I would really like to start ivf as soon as possible. I don't want to waste any time. We get our annual bonusses in March, and between me and dh, we hope we get enough to at least cover half of the ivf. We've saved up for the rest. But hopefully all that won't be necessary. (I'm trying to have only positive thoughts this time around). Nata, I'm so glad that you can start your cycle at last. Good luck with the injectables!
