I'm one of the original members of the JP TTC board and have entered a new realm of these times by just having 3 embies transfered on 2/8/11. Also another original member just had one little guy via her 2nd attempt of IVF w/ 3 embies transfered, 3 weeks ago. Many of us on the original board had had tr surgery and were successful having babies afterwards as well as went on to IVF. There were also others who just struggled with unexplained infertility and have gone on to have babies or are still trying so all those moms are welcome! Hopefully we can get back together and also I hope to hook up with other IVF moms so we can share info and advise too! Cuz I am in stitches about all of this right now having had IVF only as an option after over-stimming as a result of injectables to up my chances of my one short fallopian tube catching an egg (and to give me better egg quality my doc said) and not seeking it out. I am 2dp3dt and 40 years old!

I will introduce myself as well I am one of the original members as well and am starting to consider IVF as a possibility or maybe a dream I had a tubal reversal in oct 06 and was able to have 1 beautiful little boy after as well as 4 m/c and lost heart to the point of having assure implants to prevent any future m/c. I am currently watching Babyz go thru the process and rooting her on maybe sometime really looking into the possibility of trying IVF either way i am happy with the family the way it is and would enjoy being here as a sounding board for anyone who may join us I will be 40 later this year

Well like I said in the intro, I am 2dp3dt (2 days past 3 day transfer) I woke up with all kinds of cramping and from what I read that is normal and a good sign. ? We transfered 3 embies, 2- 12 cell and 1- 6 ( the least divided one I had and I affectionately call my underdog) I did that on purpose as I had another 12 cell, 1- 14, 3- 10's and 2- 8'2 left but wanted to give a less desired one a shot. I guess I will find out tomorrow (day 6 past retrieval) which of the ones that are left made it to blast and can be frozen. I had gone in to up my chances of conceiving after a m/c and 4 failed attempts of clomid by trying a round of follistim with the idea that I would have better egg quality and produce more than one egg to give my one short (3 1/2 cm) fallopian tube I have left after having tr surgery and an ectopic, a better chance of catching one! I over-stimmed and had 20 follicles, they gave me the option of converting to an IVF cycle and since I was scared and rather weary decided to go for it. (We had actually had intercourse the night before (cd 13) they told me we needed to abandon the cycle (cd 14) for fear I could conceive a litter! They retrieved 17 eggs and 14 were mature. They fertilized 10 and like I said we transfered 3 so far. So that is where I am at!

Well 8dpo (8 dpr, 5dp3dt) and I got a bfp with fmu! I believe it is real as I have been testing to ensure the trigger shot was out of my system for several days and it was! I am very excited and babying myself cuz I have been prone to m/c in the past. cant wait till the am so I can test again and hopefully its still there. On fri they called to tell me all 7 of our embies left turned to blasts and were able to be frozen.
