Hi my name is Kristy. I have been trying now for a year and half to get pregnant. I have PCOS and last month was the first time I did an IUI. Before that I was doing clomid and shots but then trying naturally. Well about three weeks ago I had my first IUI. And last weeks I started to get my period which was really different than normal, much lighter. But a little more than spotting. And this week I'm super tired. I took an at home pregnancy test and it came out negative and all my other symptons besides the being tired have gone away. I guess I'm wondering has this happened to anyone else with the being tired? I just found it so odd that this month I feel so much different than the past months when we were doing everything the same except now doing an IUI. Any insight would be really great.

hi all, just an update on me. Well had my checkup yesterday and he said my cervix thinned out a little more so he sent me over to labor and delivery to monitor me overnite and also to get the sterroid shot for the baby's lungs. They were noticing slight contractions but nothing major so they let me go home this morning, but had to go back this afternoon to get the other sterroid shot in my other cheek. Those things hurt btw. As far as the baby she was kicking like crazy yesterday probably cuz of the sterroids my guess, she seems more calm today. But then again maybe she knew I was tense yesterday. I'm 24 weeks, they're hoping for 4 more weeks, but we'll see. That would make her almost 8 months, which, well I was born at 8 months and I'm ok, short and round but ok. When I was born the docs told my mom that either I would die within the 1st month or that I would be severely brain damaged my whole life. Well, I guess he was wrong I graduated with a 5.25 GPA in high school and was salutatorian. BTW, welcome to all the newcomers. For a background on me, I had a septate uterus resected last july, then started on 50 mg chlomid after I was healed, that didn't do anything, so my RE had me start on 100 mg chlomid and that produced some follicles, so had the trigger shot then had my IUI and it worked the very first try. I am due Oct 18, but my cervix is thinned out noone knows why, so she's gonna be a premie. Please continue to keep us in your prayers, I want nothing more than a strong healthy baby, early or not. Thanks again.

Babywish, it's good to hear from you, and as always you and the baby are in my prayers. Keep resting and taking it easy. Kristy, I answered you on the other thread, but again, I would talk to the doctor about cysts. Both times I've had them I've had the symptoms you've descriped. Welcome to the thread and good luck. Tiffany...sorry to hear about the bfn, but until af shows her ugly self there's still a chance. As for me, I'm still waiting for af, I hope she gets here soon, I'm ready to get going again. I'm going to start a July post. Baby dust to all. Take care Cindy
