Gwinn, I'm afraid you are participating on the wrong discussion board. We are having trouble with pg because of medical reasons, or 'unexplained infertility'. We all start out 'opening the door and the universe', but when I found out I had PCOS, I realized it was going to take a bit more effort than that. Because of our conditions, you may get some harsh remarks from your statement. Hopefully you now know enough to use more tact next time. Don't tell a bunch of women who have fertility problems to 'relax'. Its just asking for trouble.

i agree with u kellyN. this poor lady "nervous" is going thru problems conceiving & u can't tell her about "opening the door & universe". we always don't get what we want & at that time when we want. everyone is not lucky like u guinn. some people get everything what they wish quite easily & some have to struggle for it. i guess we all fall in the struggle catagory. don't give up hope ladies, i m sure one day we'll be posting about our bfp in a few months or maybe weeks. anyways, all the best to u miss nervous & all other ttc ladies.

It is really tough to to watch everyone else but you have a baby. I have a daughter already, but DH and I want one more. I know how you feel as both my
sister-in-laws had babies the last couple months and that was really tough on me. I was jealous for a while but I figured that I should
not be as I have a wonderful child already and that if something is going to happen that it will. You can't push things like this. Get DH
tested to see if it is him and try not to stress too much. Wanting something too much is going to make it not happen.

thanx 'wanted to say'. u right, i should't be obssesed with it. & thanx Ash, kelly, mega for being supportive. did u guys read my previous post, i wanted to know about cd21 blood tests & anti depressants.

I don't know anything about anti-depressants, but I do know about cd 21 blood test. Actually, this test is taken 7 days after ovulation. They test for progesterone to see if you ovulated. If your progesterone is high, all is well. If it is low, you may need to explor ovulation drugs.

my first miscarriage was due to low hormone. so do u think if this has any connection with the progesterone level? my doctor is very busy, if i call her office today i'll be scheduled for jan or feb, so no use in scheduling. this forum is really good. there are so many women here to support.

I'm not sure about all the hormones and what happens if they are deficient, but I do take a progesterone supplement (starting one day after o through until af comes). I do know that low progesterone can cause m/c. Many doctors who see a pattern of their patients with m/c having low progesterone will prescribe supplements. If you think this is a problem for you, there are also supplements you can get 'over the counter' (on line). These are perfectly legal to buy and take. You would just need to make sure you use the natural progesterone, not the man-made progesterone. The labels will tell you if it is natural or not.

which brand do u use? do we have to stop taking it b4 af & again start after ovulation? do i need to ask my doctor about this? i have some progesterone supplements from my previous pregnancy.

You are welcome

Hi nervous! Sorry, I often don't check the board in the evening. I am taking 200 mg Prometrium once a day. I think this brand is prescription only.
