My first set of iuis was in May of this year with 100mg of clomid. I did get pregnant on the first try but after 2 weeks I lost the baby. It was referred to as a chemical pregnancy.
I have PCOS and don't ovulate on my own. So far I've done 3 cycles...
May: 100mg Clomid and 2 back to back IUIs, chemical pregnancy
July: 5mg Letrozole and 2 back to back IUSs, negative
August: 5mg Letrozole and 2 back to back IUIs, I test on Sept. 3rd.
All 3 times I've had the Ovidrel shot to bring on ovulation.
Is this your first time on meds? There's another thread that I am a part of called "FIrst time IUI success". You'll find a lot of women that it has worked for on the first try, and others that has taken longer.
