Hi Ladies.... I hope everyone is doing great! Yep... I'm 5 weeks today... still going strong. :) I have my first u/s on June 4th at 7:30 am. I'll be 6w6d at that point so, I'm hoping they will see the hb. Haven't had ANY pregnancy signs though... bb are sore, but I'm thinking that might be because I was on Dostinex (for high prolactin levels), and when I don't take it my bb's get sore. Can't take it anymore because I did get pregnant... so, other than that nothing... except cramps - I don't know if I would even call most of the feels I have as cramps - but just a weird feeling in that area... oh well... I just keep praying that everything keeps progressing like it is supposed to be... dr never checked my beta again... 5/15 = 140, 5/17 = 232... so, it didn't double in 2 days, but I calculated it and it doubled in 2.74 days, so I guess that it is okay , because they want it to double in 2-3 days... and he never checked it again... so, I'm thinking I must be ok.... :)

Wow-Nikki nice to hear that you feel well! I am 6 weeks & 4 days and when we have our 1st u/s on Friday I will be 7 weeks and yep-they should see the hb-same with you when you go on June 4th, you will also be in your 7th week....I am excited to share this with everyone......JLee when do you go and HappyMom-what are the dates of the u/s that you have scheduled??
Chele how's it going?? How r u feeling? Bloated? I was telling dh that the shot was 450..he remember when I was taking the meds...he said poor you then poor dh...i guess it made me pretty cranky! Do you have that feeling or not really-if not-that is great....keep me posted about your first u/s and how many follies are growing??

I plan to go for a pap as soon as this tww is over. I am not due for it until August but I will surely be going early this year. I am not sure why she asked me that unless she saw something or if it was just because I have had surgery on my cervix before and she seen some scar tissue. I plan on calling the docs today to find out why. Chele I hope everything works out for you with the IVF. Please keep us posted. I did email my doctor telling him my concerns with him not being to aggressive with this. And he replied that there were two IUI's that I have done that my dh's #'s were not real good and that is why he wants us to do atleast 2 more not 4-or 5 more like the nurse said. I am ok with that. He made me understand it a little better. He also said that if the next two cycles are a bust he will be putting me on 50mg of clomid. So, I guess I got my answer and I told him that if I do two more and they are a bust and he does not want to do meds I will have no choice but to find another RE that will do what I want him/her to do. Thanks SONYA, I will definately look in to those. I want to get my flowers planted and pot's potted but I keep waiting for the weather to continue to head towards Summer. Yes, the dose is quite high but I guess going aggressive w/ IVF is the best.... Thanks for all your support, your a great friend! Hi SHANLOU, I'm glad you find it interesting as I always hope what I learn will help someone else.... I find so many people on hear educating me on different things and I love to read and learn from it too. The most I ever took was 150units so this is big but the RE told me when I do IVF I go max... the aggressive route to ensure we are getting the best out of our try. I am just very fearful of the bloatedness once I step it up and add all the others on... Funny you should ask because I just saw a post something like Prego right after M/C... it's CHAS she just found out on her natural cyle that she is preggo right after the m/c and is scared. Sorry if I have your info confused, but is it Sept that you will be doing IVF? NIKKI, great news to hear your doing well. Not sure because I've never been there and I'm sure all is welll, but I'm sure if you asked to have the levels checked to put your mind at ease, they would do so. :0) Does it not seem like there are many different types of appts going on June 4th? hahah No really, on the IVF thread there are many that seem to have June 4th appts... I should be a June 5th (Transfer). HAHAHA, actually I have not noticed myself being btchy w/ the Gonal-F BUT maybe I should ask dh that question!hahaha The Clomid use to make me moody. Hmmm, I'll have to ask him. MOMMYof3, I'm glad you were able to have your concerns addressed. However, just remember you have to stick to your guns... If you feel you are not getting the proper attention then you have to seek other alternatives to do that. Not trying to confuse you any more and girls please correct me if you've heard differently but I have read tons of posts where the girls said if their dh has a low count then they try a couple IUI's but the RE's typically suggest IVF for those w/ low sc issues... Take care girls, lots of bfps and lots of doubling numbers for those who are mommy's-to-be. :0)

Glad to hear that you are taking it easy...that is all that you can do-and get those puppies growing!!!

Mommyof 3, glad to hear that you had a chat with your DR....but if the sperm is low, then more eggs increase the chance of pregnancy-obviously...so that is why the Dr.'s would do iui with meds....

Hi girls. I am Melanie. We have been trying to get pregnant for over 2 years. I had my first IUI on May 12th. I was quite sore after that. On a 2 week wait. Wish me all the luck. Anyway, a question for y'all - I was severely cramping last week and then nothing - no periods or anything! Today is the 11th day since the IUI...how long before y'all took the test? And is the cramping normal? Are my ovaries oversimulated?

Well let me explain when my dh's sc was low it was because he was sick. He had an SA done and his normal count is very high. I never thought that him being sick would effect his #'s so much but it did. Oh I have already spoken to another RE and he will be willing to take me on if my RE does not live up to his end of the bargin. So yes I am sticking to my guns.

Melanie did you take any meds to induce ovulation? And I am a testaholic so at 11 days past IUI I would test. But that is up to you. What is your normal LP?

My dh has low sperm count too and bad motility and bad morphology. He has been on Proxeed/Fertilaid for 6 months now and his count has improved from 2 million to 25 million and his motility from 10% to 45% and overall motility count is about 45! So dotn worry about low counts.
Yes, I had an IUI with Clomid and tested my LH until the 18th day and it showed ovulation and so 24 hours laters - day 19, I got myself induced.
I dont have any signs of pregnancy + with all that cramping so dont want a false positive and get all excited only to find out that I am not!! So I am going to be patient and find out on day 14 ( 2 days later). Today is day 28.
Otherwise if AF does start, planning to start on Clomid + HCG shot one.

BEAMOM, welcome! Many girls wait until 11 days or so after the IUI since the trigger shot should be out of your system... It's really just up to you. MOMMYof3... oh ok, I understand. Dh's count is not normally low it just happened to be that time since he was sick, correct?

I took a pregnancy test today morning and it came out negative!!
I guess I have to wait for period to show up! SAD!

correct chele! His normal is actually higher than normal so the doc was suprised when he was sick that his count was low. I bought Clomid online yesterday so that way I have it on hand. I got a good deal on it it was only 25.00 for 20 pills at 50 mg. I wont take them until my doc says it is ok. I know that I need him to monitor me I am just getting prepared. I am 5dpo today and just waiting around. I dont really feel like this is the month. But I am not giving up hope for sure. BABY DUST TO ALL
