Monring JG! So far so good... today is day 28 and no af... yet.... I am so praying that my choice to sit out before the next attempt worked on it's own! BUT, if not, then I'll be positive about March! I really believe in March being a good month. I can't believe all the positive results from the Feb/March IVF thread... there are like 6 people that got bfps, it's so wonderful! Passing out... oh my goodness... If the pain is much worse then what I've endured w/ the wash then you are one strong person JG! That's terrific that the IUI's are covered, thankfully mine are to but not the seamen wash that dh has done. IVF is very affordable, may I ask where you live? I may need to come visit and get residency for a few months!haha So this means you can test when? the 15th? I hope you get a bfp this time around!!!! Hi Gosia, I was wondering where you were hiding out.... well don't give up hope yet, I hear many women say that they experience the af cramping and swear it is on the way and they get a bfp! Now I don't want to give you any false hope because I know progesterone delayed my cycles but keep positive and hopefully this will be the month for you! How many rounds of Clomid have you done w/ IUI? CHANDELLINA, yes I have done round w/ injectibles (Gonal-F) at 75units which is also the lowest dosage. I ovulate on my own also, but they believe due to my FSH levels that the quality is not a good. Unfortunately, it did not work for me in January so I sat the month of Feb out. If af show's I will do my last IUI w/ Gonal-F again at 150 units. SASHA, I agree but I think maybe it was JB's decision to do this because of her religious beliefs. Good luck ladies!!

hey guys- Chele, i know you were interested in my status- beta yesterday was 139 and progesterone was relaly high at 110. so things are going wlel- we are pregnant!!!!!! i have a second beta on monday and an u/s probably in a few weeks. so after 4 mos on clomid, 4 IUIs (2 clomid, 2 injectables), IVF finally did the trick for us on our first one. hopefully this emby or embies (we put in 2 blastocysts) stick and go to term healthy!!!! wishing you guys lots of luck with your IUIs!!!! it can and does work- my friend just delivered her second IUI baby. she did 4 to have him.

Hi Ladies! I'd like to join you in the IUI journey. I am going to have my 2nd IUI next week. I go in on Monday for my U/S to check follies, and wait for instruction on when to do trigger shot. I am also on clomid(100mg) I had a luteal phase defect, which is fixed as of 2 months ago, and DH has super sperm, so hopefully it is just a matter of time! I am 28 DH is 29 trying for 15 months for our 1st. I hope we get lots of BFP's this month!!! How long do ya;ll usually say lying down after IUI. I only laid there for 10 min on my 1st b/c I was cramping...do ya'll ever have cramping? I think I will suck it up and stay down longer, since the 1st did not work...I am also going to relax and try to take it easy for at least 2 days after IUI. Good luck!!!!

Hi, ladies, I think I may have joined this thread in the past and would like to re-join the action. I tested negative on my beta on Wed. So I am now waiting for AF to start so that I can start my clomid/IUI cycle again. It should start tomorrow I expect. Wow, there are a few testers on this thread already. Good luck and baby dust. Hi TINK! Thanks for checking in. I have periodically jumping over to your IVF thread to see how you and GOGO are doing. I am so excited for you guys, it seems that Feb was a terrific month for all of you IVFrs! I am so jealous, but so happy for you too!! :0) Your numbers do sound good from what I know, but do you think that there may be two? Keep up the good work, keep those levels moving up! I'm rooting for you!

Hi ADDIE, I just may be your 2ww partner... I am beginning to feel af pains this afternoon so if it comes then I will be running a short distance behind you. As for me, the REs office typically has me lay down anywhere btwn 15 - 20 minutes and then they say resume the rest of the day as usual, just use common sense when doing so. I also had bad cramping, but mainly while inserting the cathater and especially injecting the little guys but then any cramping after the process was done was so minimal that I hardly noticed. Well I hope AF does not come for you! Have you taken a test? Lots of women say pregnancy symptoms feel like AF, so don't give up hope! How many IUI's have you done? Are you on clomid? What are your fertility problems? If any...I would love to have a 2ww partner, but I still hope you don't get AF so you can tell me any tips on how NOT to get her!!! LOL Baby dust to you!!!

hi girls i'd like to join you if that ok? this month is my second iui. i'm on 150iu of bravelle. went in for 1st u/s on monday and saw 8 follies on each side. started meds and went back this morning and 2are growing. one is 8mm and 11mm. but my e2 is at 60 so they are increasing my dose to 225iu and i go back mon morning for another u/s. i too suffer from a luteal phase defect and was prescribed progesterone supp. we are unexplained infertility..i'm 25 dh 29. after this try possibly one more iui then onto ivf. good luck too all!!!!! i cant wait to hear some great news on this thead. the ivf thread is very inspirational....i'd like to follow everyones bfp's here!!!!!! who is testing and what day is everyone on? how many follies did everyone have for iui and is anyone on baby asprin??

Well got to about 5p.m. and yep, af showed. It's ok though, I am feeling very very confident about March's IUI... so on with my next journey w/ all my wonderful TTC friends!
ADDIE, well as you read, af came so looks like we will be 2ww buddies! I have done a total of 3 IUI's with this next one being my 4th and last. I had 2 of them w/ Clomid and the last w/ Gonal-F (lowest dose). This time I will be on 150 units w/ back-to-back IUI's. The only problem that my RE found was that my FSH levels were a little high so he believe my eggs or not of the best quality and that the Gonal-F will help to lower my levels and produce good quality eggs (I girl I work w/ had high levels but hers were in the mid 30's and mine was at 11.3 I believe so I have lot's of hope. She took the Gonal-F med too and she has a beautiful little girl who will be turning 2. Let our journey begin :0) Sure Leah, come aboard we'd love to have you!

I haven't had injectibles, only Clomid then IUI. Hope your cycle goes well - please keep us updated....... SASHA My doc doesn't wash dh's sperm because of our religious beliefs regarding the washing solution that they use. Last time I had cramps for an hour or so but this time it was much worse, apparently because of the protein in the semen and the passing out is caused by a chemical reaction to the contents of the unwashed semen. But that is our choice so I've just got to deal with it. Apparently the chances of conceiving don't lessen because of using the whole sample since dh has good sperm count and motility....... CHELE - DAMN WITCH! She needs a good kick up the butt. Sorry to hear your news but like you said, positive thoughts for March. BTW, why is this your last IUI? Is that the recommendation of your Dr to only do four then progress to IVF?....... I took clomis 50g days 2-6 and had two follies - leading one should have been at 23mm yesterday when I had IUI and secondary follie should have been at 19 mm but Dr said that one would be unlikely to fertilise....... BRING ON THE BFP'S GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

jg- why would one be unlikely to fertilize? those are both great size follies! where they one the same side? good luck!!!!chele-sorry about af showing i'm glad you feel good about this month!! i think its going to be a good one too! i'm doing about the same meds just a different brand. they uped me to 225units for the next 3nights. so we'll see good luck and thanks for the welcome!!!

LEAH I think Doc said smaller follie would be unlikely to fertilise because of it's size.............hmmmm..........don't really know. Oh and I think they were on different sides. I have been reading up on using unwashed semen for IUI - scary!! No wonder I passed out. Looks like dh and I will have to do some thinking if it doesn't work this time. :-(

Sorry Chele! I feel good about March too!! Have any of you had predictions from Cheri? I had one and she told me all sorts of stuff! She said I would either conceive or find out in April! I am hoping she is a little off b/c I would find out this month on the 24th or 25th...so maybe she's a few days off! Otherwise, the next month(which will be our last IUI) before we take a much needed break! I don't really want to take a break, but by then if we are not pregnant, my body(uggg Clomid) my marriage, wallet and heart need to take some time off from this! Anybody who has not been through this has no idea what we go through! It's nice to have ya'll to talk to, all my friends are fertile myrtles...and have no clue!!! BFPs for all of us in March! Christmas babies!!!! XOXO

Sorry jg I hope I didn't offend you!! I misunderstood I thought it was your Dr's preference. I know at the hospital I'm gonna go to has a lot of things that they won't do b/c of religious reasons I thought maybe it was the same deal with your Dr. chele sorry af came I was hoping you got a bfp on a natural cycle!!

Hello Ladies, I just went for my u/s and bw, I am on 50mg of clomid and will have iui, she said I have 5 follies on each side. LEAHB5...I am on day 3, I was instructed to take clomid from days 4-8 of my cycle, I dont have bw and u/s again until day 12. I should be just about ready t to ovulate then. Oh! I am on baby asprin as well.

Wow Tronyx, 5 follies! I didn't think clomid produced that many...most I have ever had is 3, but RE said the 3rd one was smaller and would probably not release an egg. I heard something about it being best to do IUI with a full bladder? Has anyone ever heard of this?
