Yes that's right - 9pm Wed night trigger shot, and IUI 9am Fri morning. Yes I am only doing 1 IUI (plus intercourse Wed night).........what's back to back IUI all about?

jg good luck with your IUI this week!! I took my trigger shot 24 hrs before my IUI. All Dr's are so different. My only update is it's 6dpiui and the HPT is finally - . So at least if I do get a bfp I'll know it's a real one. Chele how many more days till af?

Hello, Here is the update from me. Today is 15 dpo and decided to take the test. It was negative. It sucks... I need to take some time to reflect and decide what are my next steps. Unfortunately, Cheri's prediction for me for February was not right. Had so many hopes... Good luck to you

I actually held out and didn't test early. I'm kind of proud of myself. I hope I get good news. I wish you all tons of luck. Sorry I was a bit of a baby early on. Hello all! Ok, before I go on I must say for those of you that also were chatting w/ TINK... she got her bfp on her 1st round of IVF also!!! JG, I understand now. As for the back-to-back IUI's... some doctors choose to do this in order to greater your chances of conception. What I do is once the follies are at the right size via u/s I am told to give myself the trigger that night. I come in around 9a the next a.m. and have 1st IUI done, then the following morning around the same time I go in for the 2nd IUI. SASHA, I am so waiting on hearing you say you got a bfp! Well according to what was always my normal schedule (28 days) it would be 3 more days. However, in the last few months I have been 7 days early and last month 3 days early. Don't know if my cycle is going back to norm or if.... oh would that not be wonderful!!! So far no af like feelings that I typically get... GOSIA, I am so sorry... believe me I know exactly how you feel about confusion w/ next steps... but remember, it's not over till af arrives. How many IUI cycles have you done now? How many on injectibles? EKOORB, glad you came back. Keep us posted on your progress.

Well, I have an interesting situation.......last night I felt pain on my right side......I think it might have been ovulation pain, but surely the follicle is too immature to release yet? CM was also present and egg-whitey this morning, but I'm not due to trigger until tonight! I don't know if I am already ovulating or whether it was just a phantom pain. In any case we bd'd this AM, trigger tonight and IUI on Friday. What do you reckon?

JG, your welcome. That is one of the reasons I love this site, you learn so much from talking to others. Not a doctors by any means but I don't think that if you feel some of the "O" type twinges that you are necessarily "O" right then.. It sounds like a good sign that's it here. Being that you bd'd earlier hopefully that will cover any chance of missing it! Lots of Baby Dust to you!

Chele, I didn't want to miss the chance just in case I WAS O'ing, so lucky dh eh? Haha. Like you said, better to cover the possibility than to miss it. Ooohh I hope this is + news for you! Longer than normal cycle is GREAT! Mine seems lately to have been steady at O'ing between days 10 to 12 and af 13-14 days later. I used to be 28 days like clockwork, but only since I have been TTC has it gone wacko! <roll eyes>. Our stress levels probably affect cycle length hugely. So let's now stress about TTC ok? YEAH RIGHT! AS IF! I could smack people down who said/say that to me. lol

JG, i found out through blood test, I was starting to ovulate on my own, so my trigger shot was decreased to half. I don't know if you were checked by re or not, but if you were they would have told you. I was monitored daily w/ sonograms and blood work, but I know some re don't do it that way. JG, I'm sure your dh welcomes any extra bd'd.. ;0) I have to say that this month off has been nice. I have not felt like I am scheduling bd'd time or worse yet making dh feel this way (even though he would never say anything).... this time it was just the normal spur of the moment times. Just like you my days were 28 like clockwork so today being day 26 I do not have my hopes up too high. Oh, who am I fooling...haha I'm hoping! But then again, it may just be meds that finally left my body that are putting me back on schedule. We will see... Count down for you missy! Only 2 more days till IUI!!! I really hope this is it for you!! We need bfp's on this thread!
