When I was pregnant, (I did IVF, 3 day tranfer) 5 days later after day 3 tranfer, which would have been day 8, I will never forget, I felt a very distinct twinge, wierd sensation, that i had never experienced before, on my right side, of uterus, and i thought to myslef, I bet that was my little embie implanting....well, I did get a BFP a week later! :O) good luck!

i did IVF and had a 5 day transfer, so the embryos had already grown outside my body for 5 days. around day 8 (they had been inside me 3 days), i felt some severe cramping and I am pretty sure it was implantation (since it occurs between day 7-10 usually). i never had any implantation spotting, but then again, i never have spotting at all ever.

Blakey, how long did the twinge feeling last for?? Hours? Day or so?

I also did IVF and felt some intense cramping 3 days after the transfer and then some pulling near my belly button this lasted for about several hours i just lied in bed and rested and got my bfp the next day.

Hi Sherry- I will never forget the feeling. I was walking through the living room, went to turn the tv on, and I was standing up, and felt the wierd twinge, sharpness on right side. I actually put my hand on abdomen because it felt so wierd, different from a cramp. It lasted for about 5 minutes, then i felt it off and on again that night, but not as severe. So it was initially for that first few minutes, is what made me think...this could be what implantation is . I never had spotting or anything, like you hear some women do. Good luck to you. Hi sherryz, I did iui, but I did notice pains on both sides, and then my back, with my first pregnany with our 1 year old, I felt like i was getting my period ....this time I had two follicles that were target size...they both took, I am having twins!!

I am 7 dpo. I had some pains (not really cramping, but pains) near my belly button. It was weird because it was on the left hand side to start with and then the right hand side. I was monitored last month through my "normal" cycle. I began my cycle with bloodwork, hsg, then post coital test. I had an ultrasound on day 11 which showed thin lining (6.7 mm). I had another ultrasound on day 14 which showed my lining to be 7.2 mm. On day 11 I had one follicle that measured 18 mm. Everything has come back normal except for lining problems. My RE says if this isn't the month, he wants to start me on injectables next month (skipping clomid because of lining problems). I'm praying what I felt was implantation! Oh yeah, on day 14 I had already ovulated!!!
