I want to share with those having problems conceiving that all is not lost. I have been trying for as long as my baby was about 18 months and his 4th birthday is in Frebruary 2011. I am 38 and my consultant at Hammersmith IVF clinic told me my tubes and womb were fine but not my AMH reading which was so low at 0.6 that my eggs were just probbaly not up to carrying a baby and certainly the reading was too low to consider IVF treatment. Now I am just over 4 weeks pregnany (I still can't believe it - byt the digital clearblue says so and hopefully so will the doc) and I really believe that it was due to the clearing out of the tubes the HSG did for me (I had previously had a laparoscopy a few years back and it seemed to do the same for child number one). Don't despair. Get another tube clean and good luck!
