Hi. I was wondering how long some of you have been TTC. We have been trying for about a year and a half. We are planning to make an apt. with the specialist but now DH has said he has talked to many people who have had to try at least 2 years. One of his friends tried for 3 years bfore success and the more people that I talk to it seems that it just takes some people a lot longer...

I am ttcing my 4th for 1 yr exactly now and am seeing a specialist at the end of this month. With my first 3 it happened the very first month. Ya just never know. Good luck to you.

Hi Baby. I have been ttc for 4.5 years. 1.5 years with a doctors help. My DH was in denial that we were having a problem. I am 34 he is 46. So we are under the care of a RE. We did one IUI and got pg. I miscarried at 6 weeks. I am currently on a 2w from my 3rd IUI. If you have been trying that long I would suggest going earlier than later. Make sure DH gets SA. I regret waiting. I know DH does too. GL to you.

Baby, dh and I have been ttc #2 for 3 years and just recently saw an RE. He made me ovulate and monitored my follicular growth. I ovulated some time this weekend and am currently on the 2ww. I agree withe Kathy (wannabeamom) that there is no reason to delay seeing a specialist. The sooner you see one the sooner you will find out why you are not getting pregnant. If I could do it over again, I would see a specialist after a year of trying. Good luck.
