Ladies, next week I have an appointment with my obgyn which he will probably put me on fertility. I keep reading stories on this forum about many of you who have been TTC for months/years and then you finally get pregnant only to m/c. How do you cope with that?? That is such a huge fear for me…..when I finally get pregnant it will be the happiest day of my life and then to possible lose the baby, I don’t think I could be as strong as most of you ladies are. How did you do it??? How do we recover from such an awful thing??

Heather - I had a miscarriage 10 days ago - it is a horrible experience, but you do cope. Losing this baby is one of the worst things that could possibly happen, but I have a lot of faith in God, and my husband and I plan to try again. I'm also purchasing some books to help me deal with my grief, and I have a very supportive family. You CAN get through it. I smiled and laughed with my family today...a small thing for most, but a huge step for me.

Heather some women will have a miscarrage in there lives. Some women loose thier first babies but unfortunatley some women will loose more then one baby, this could be for different reasons. Also some women go on to have a healthy baby first time. You have to try and be possative about these things and if the worst does happen you will deal with it and you will try again. Goodluck and heres some baby dust ******************

Heather - I had a m/c a little over 4 weeks ago. I was devastated. One of the hardest parts about it was actually having to go back to the dr's office for follow-up's and seeing all the big beautiful bellies on the pg women that are perfectly healthy. To this day I still feel like I'm "broken" in some way... Abnormal. After reading (almost to the point of obsession) a lot of stories and articles online I'm finding that m/c's are very common. 20-25% of pregnancies end in m/c. A lot of friends and co-workers have come to me and told me they too have had a m/c. I find great comfort in knowing that I'm not alone. Remember… God will never give you anything you can’t handle. Try to be positive. *~*~*~*~*~*~ baby dust to us all!

Thanks girls.....It is something that I'm dreading, but your right about needing the support of family and friends. How did your husbands deal with the m/c? Was he as supportive as you all would of liked him to be?

Heather H - April 4

My husband was more supportive of me during that time than he ever has been. He's never seen me hurt that bad before and really stepped up. We are closer today than the day we married.

Heather H - I'm so glad to hear that. You are a very lucky lady and your husband is even luckier!! Buckets full of baby dust to you and your husband!!

Heather- 4 & 1/2 months ago my husband and I lost our pregancy at 12 wks., 4 days. I joined a support group and prayed to God that he would help me heal my soul. There is not a day that goes by when I don't think about the baby. With the love and support from friends and family I have survived a m/c. Good luck and blessings to your family.

6 almost 7 yrs ago I lost my baby at 22 wks. It was extremely hard for me. I didn't want to get out of bed. Now I have been ttc for almost 2 yrs with no luck. It is sad and hard to deal with, but with love and God you get through it.

Heather, I had a m/c about 2 weeks ago. It was my 2nd preg. My husband and I tried for over 2 1/2 years for our first one and thanks to a friend who gave me some information on herb supplements formulated by a nutritionis, I was preg. in 2 1/2 months. He is now 19 months old. With our second preg. We got preg. the first month. But only to lose it. I was a very painful time. I still think about my baby every day, but I am a christian and I believe that God has a plan for each of our lives, and our plans aren't always His plans. When things happen like this I think God gives us the strength we need to deal with our situation and grow from it. I have a wonderful husband who supported me very much through this trying time and a wonderful family!!! God only gives us what we can handle. I am feeling much better this week and am hoping and praying that I will be able to concieve again soon. Don't worry about having a miscarage. Enjoy each day with your unborn child when you get preg. Stress can lead to a miscarage. I would love to give you the information about the "baby medicine" that I took. I had several friends who had tried for a long time to get preg. too. Everyone that has taken this has gotten preg. The longest it usually takes to get preg. with this is 3 months. And it is completely safe and naturally. My med. Dr. was ok with me taking it. She was impressed with how healthy my preg. was. I just ordered more last week and am going to try it again. I know I can get preg. but this will help balance out my hormones and help me get preg faster. If you do want this info you can email me at [email protected]. I want to tell everyone I can about this because I know how it feels to want a baby!!!!

Dawn - Would you be willing to share your find with others? I have been ttc for 15 months. This month I begin IUI. I must say, it is getting more difficult to keep a positive attitude, but as you have said, I rely heavily on my faith to get me through and believe God has a plan, I just need to trust in Him. I would love to hear what you used, and I am sure most women on this site would love to know also. Thanks!

Jen---Yes, anyone who is interested in this information can email me and I will email the info to you. My email is [email protected].

For Dawn-I was just wondering if you can post the information on here about how you got pregnant.

I tried for over 2 1/2 years to get preg. A friend of mine had been trying for a while too. She heard of the nutritionist that grows, formulates his own herb supplements. She talked to him and he sent her the products. They are angelica root and hers. I decided to give him a call and he answered all of my questions and I ordered some too. I was preg. in 2 1/2 months. All of my other friends that have tried it since have gotten preg. too!! It is amazing!!! The reason I felt comfortable and trusted him was that he was a christitan and so am I. I knew he wouldn't lie about his products. I didn't really want to go on fertility meds and this was much cheaper. It costs 40.00 a bottle which lasts about a month. It is in liquid form and is in a pint(?) size container. It cost me 80.00 a month for both herbs. I had to take 1 tbs in the am of one and 1 tbs. of the other in pa. He told me the longest people usually have to take it is 3 months before they are preg. Most people find out that they are preg in the second month. If anyone has any other questions you can email me [email protected].
