Hi Girls, can I join? Wow Addie your husband's count sound great. I just did my first IUI for this cycle. I have another one tomorrow. I had my first IUI in December--we had some LH surge issues so we ended up doing 3 total IUI's for that cycle. We did get pregnant. But at the first beta the HCG levels were low. 5 days later it was down to 2, so the pregnancy didn't stick. So yes it can happen on your first try. I'm 31 and DH is 32, so we are ready to get the family started. He has great sperm count, so the issue basically lies with me. This is our second Clomid / IUI cycle. I've been on Clomid before and have only produced one follicle each time. This cycle we have 3--so I have my fingers crossed. Good luck to all.

Hi Hannah, Glad to have you here! Glad to know IUI can work the 1st time, sorry your 1st one didnt stick...but this cycle sounds great! I had slight O type cramping yesterday....hoping it was implantation! Keep me posted on you...GL tomorrow...

hi girls...i would love to get pg with twins also!! i always say at this point i'll take anything! i just pray however many i have are healthy!! my dh's count was great. at first iui they injected 110mill. so i thought one would do it but maybe next time. i'm 11dpo right now and i'm testing on monday. i really hope this is it. i hope its not a bad omen but i've been buying cute clearence baby clothes and maternity clothes on line. i never would before cause i thought i would jinx myself but that didnt seem to workout so well so i'm gonna see if that makes me more positive, like i know this is going to happen!!! quick story...i'm a hairstylist so i do many many womens hair. one girls has tried for over 2years..got her dh checked and his count was next to nothing(6mill i think). they made an appt to see a specialist they are now pg!!!!! all on there own and having TWINS!! miracles happen dont ever give up! have a great day!!!

leahb, So is the this your second month for IUI? Are you unexplained infertility? That is a great story about the lady with twins. I have 2 familys on my street, both tried forever...one was for 13 years. Both addopted and got pregnant. Isn't that crazy!!! I think some people are meant to have the children they adopt, and truly feel everything happens for a reason...I still want a BFP though!!! :) Leahb, do you have any symptoms? I too have a DH who has a very low count/low mobility. We have been trying to conceive our 1st baby now for the past 5 years. We did 4 rounds of IUI, 2 with clomid, and the other 2 with injectables. We weren't successsful, but were told for us personally that IVF/ICSI would be our next step. We needed to be more aggressive because we are older. We just finished our 3rd attmept of IVF, I pray it works. Good luck to all of you with the iuis. I have heard a lot of success stories from women who have done IUI's, especially IUI's with injectables, it brings up your chances. Good luck!!!! :) :)

Hi everyone! I know a few of you will be testing in a few days. I sure hope for lots of bfp's!! I just got af, so i am out for this month (naturally) our appt is still 2/28 with the RE. I should be close to ovulation then, I wonder if they would go ahead and do the IUI a few days after our first consult. Any ideas?? or do they usually wait a while and do tests, etc. I am having all my records sent to them from my OB. I am praying for good luck !!

Hey Chas, sorry AF showed up...Just to tell you about my 1st experience with IUI....I had an U/S on day 11...they measured my follies and they can tell if and when they will be big enough to release an egg. She told me to give myseld HCG shot that night(day 11) to trigger O...then on Day 13 I had IUI done first thing in the morning. I actually felt O pain on my way to the RE. Hoping for the best...good luck you...

Hey all! Only a couple more days until I test...it couldn't go by any slower! My lower back has been bothering me, but mostly when I have a bowl movement(TMI) :)~ and my stomach is cramping still slightly. I really hope this is the month...I don't want to have to go through this again! I say that every month! Anyone due to test soon?

Hey Addie! When are you going to test? I can't remember side effects from my IUI, but I do remember lots of lowwwww pain. Like my ovaries would drop out! I'm on CD15, taking HCG shot tomorrow and then I guess I'll in the wonderful world of the 2ww. Best to you! Hang in there!

hey addie. well i'm on cd31...which is late for me. i tested this morning and bfn. i had a luteal phase defect, so they put me on 50mg 2X a day of progesterone. they said it could be enough to cause me not to have a period. so i have a call into them about when to expect af after i stop prog. i stopped this morning and i have had no spotting or anything. its even really uncommon for me with prog too. so i guess it did what it was supposed to do and i'll take it again next month when i do iui with injections and hcg trigger. i'm just ready to be finished with this month so i can go onto next! hey, do you take baby asprin? i heard it was good for lpd. i took that too so maybe that played a role in my normal cycle. good luck friday, please let us know!!

Hi addie, Thanks for the info about your first IUI. So, they can acutally do a u/s to determine when you will ovulate and trigger it! So, maybe I could have my IUI a few days after our appt. Well I'm gonna test tomorrow morning!!! So pray I get BFP. Leah, did you find out anything about when AF comes while taking progesterone? I am also on 100mg of progesterone and wondered nthe same thing...if I get BFN...Chas, I had my U/S the same day(11) They measure your follies and they can tell if they will be big enough in a few days for hcg shot...they grow a certain amount everyday. Keep us posted. I am really hoping for BFP and hoping 1st IUI was good enough! I have been really tirede and boobs huirt...but I hate that AF symptoms can be a lot like pregnancy symptoms...so I dunno! I will keep ya'll posted! Wish me luck!

hey girl. so i got af this morning... i got a bfn on wed so tues night was last night for progesterone supp. i talked to the nurse on wed and she said to expect my af within a week of stopping prog. and she was right. 2 days later she is here. i'm ok with it because i had a normal cycle with prog and no spotting at all just full blown af. i am hoping for the best for you!!!! good luck!! i have my first u/s on monday morning at 7:30. baseline so i'll know how many follies i might have this month!! yeah bring on the injections......i'm hoping this month is our month!! and hoping yours is now!!! please let us know!
