Ginger-just wondering whether you have any symptoms yet since IUI on the 13th. I actually started feeling crampy yesterday and sore boobs today (but this happend last month too and didn't get preggers). I checked my chart and it happend about the same time last month...so I tend to think this is bad. Are you having any symptoms that are odd?

Hi Linds, sorry I've been incomunicato lately. I had a big conference at work Thursday and Friday, and I had to give some presentations and other fun stuff. Thank goodness it's over though. So, I am actually a bit worried that this might not be my month either. My temps have dipped a little and I am due for AF tomorrow (10 day luteal phase, remember). This morning I woke up with some pretty bad cramping, and it is fairly normal for me to have cramps the day before AF. :( I have had some interesting "symptoms" this month, like for one thing the really bad mid-cycle cramping I had on 5-6dpo (I've never had that before) and for the past two or three days I have really really exhausted. In fact, I've been sore all over (like someone smacked me with a baseball bat) esp. in my neck and upper back, but who knows my body likes to play tricks with me.

Hey, how much did your temps dipped? Does your cramping feel like the uterine contractions we always get? Gosh, the rest of your symptoms sound so weird too, with the achey neck and back, but I also had that crampy feel on Friday and Sunday on and off. I hate this, because we have problems, no symptoms are symptoms and symptoms are not symptoms. It is maddening. I'm so sick of this. I have a blood test on Friday and seriously feel like canceling it. Rrrrr!

No dash above, of course. I'm trying not to stress about it too much though...stressing never helps, but as you know, it's very hard not to stress. As you can see from my chart, my temps weren't triphasic.

My cramps feel pretty much like the general AF cramps, I always get. On 5-6dpo they were like my AF cramps, but pretty darn tense. I even felt some sharp pains (I am hoping it isn't my endo coming back!). I have a blood test on Friday, too. If I haven't started then (and there's a good chance I will start tomorrow), I will go in for it.

Well, from the look of it, you had a nice dip about 5 days post ovulation. Actually, it looks like a nice cycle. But your temps are a little on the lower side. (You don't have thyroid problem right?) I'm sorry, but did we talk progesterone last week (I can't remember if I talked with you about that or Pam.) Anyway, maybe your cycle is estrogen dominant, thus the short luteal phase and cool temps. Maybe you need the progesterone supplementation during the luteal phase to get your temps higher. Are you gonna take a blood test soon with the doctor or do a home pregnancy test?

I'm sorry, I just read you ahve the blood test Friday, dummy me. Sorry.

Yeah, I asked my RE's nurse about the low temps (I was concerned b/c they do seem very low), she said that some women just have low waking temps and it's nothing to worry about. Plus, I had extensive hormone/thyroid tests a couple of months ago and they came back normal. I suppose I am fine, but I must admit, the low temps do make feel a bit uneasy.

I was reading through the "IUI tomorrow" thread and saw that Guinrisa (sp?) had AF-like cramps from 5-12dpo and ended up with a BFP, so I guess anything is possible. I have had cramps from 5-7dpo and 9-10dpo, so maybe?----a girl can hope, anyway!

Really, if your nurse said it was fine, I wouldn't be that alarmed by it either if thyroid issues have already been ruled out. That would be a red flag if those tests came out abnormal. But really, don't throw in the towel yet, you are still in the game as long as AF doesn't come tomorrow. Really, I bet all your body needs is to be pregnant! That will really get it kick started.

btw, we did talk about progesterone. If this cycle is unsuccessful, I will talk to my doc about it. thanks for the good advice. Sending you the good vibes this cycle---remember it's not over yet!

I saw that too that she wrote that and thought the same thing. But for myself, I checked my little "TTC diary" and I also had weird cramps starting on 6 days post ovulation last time. This cycle doesn't really feel any different then my September cycle. So, I'm feeling less optimistic for myself. I hope I'm wrong of course. Check in tomorrow and let me know what your temps do tomorrow.

sure. good luck!

gurinsa - October 23

Hi ginger and Linds..its me, gurinsa..I am still reading all these threads so I thought I would check in. I swear that I absolutely, for sure, without a doubt, was going to start af ANY DAY. But it just never came. I always read about it but never really believed that it would feel exactly the same so please - don't give up hope until that nasty af shows!!!! keeping my fingers crossed for you :)

linds99 - October 24

thanks gurinisa for that. So nice of you to check in and a big congratulations to your pregnancy. It is weird, everytime I read someone on this forum getting pregnant, I feel a step closer to it happening for me to for some reason, like I'm next in line or something. I'm so weird. Can you tell me how many days post ovulation you tested-were you temping too?

ginger6363 - October 24

Congratulations and thanks for the encouragement, gurinsa. Unfortunately, my temp dipped again today and I still have AF-like cramping. I feel like it's the end of the line for me. :( I wish my body wouldn't play these games with me. It makes the let-down all the more difficult. I'll keep you posted, linds.
