Getting Pregnant after Uterine Ablation

I am a 30 year old woman who has 4 sons. I had a tubaligation after my set of twins, because I carry the Fragile X gene. My two eldest sons have the genetic disability, but my twins do not. I have recently met the man that I want to spend the rest of my life with and I want to give him a child of his own. I had the balloon ablation in August of 2004. I am wondering if I did the IVF method, if my uterus would hold a baby to full term. The IVF method is probably going to be the best way because of the Fragile X Gene. Please, give me the answer we are looking for! Any information would be helpful.

I am pregant now...I had balloon uterine alation & I was told I would not get pregnant...what could happen? & once you get pregnant how do you save the baby?

heather ivf would be a good choice because you could use egg donoation to where you wont pass the gene or they could test each embryo to make sure whether or not they have it
