Helen...thanks for info and it is worth looking into anything when you decide to move onto IVF. I hope we do not loose everyone to another thread, we could name it something else. I'd hate not to know what has happened to everyone. I am on cd 14. Hubby and I have been BDing since cd 8 (not complaining). Had EWCM today so we covered day before, day of and will cover tomorrow. Since I only have left side, I hope it is the month for my left. I would love nothing else to find out in 2 weeks I was prego. I figure based on prior cycles, AF should show anywhere from Jan. 6th - Jan. 10th. So I will pray she stays away. I was telling my mom that when we are younger we hope she shows monthly. Now being older, most of us wany nothing else than for her to no show us. Well...good to see old friends and hope others are still around and enjoying their pregnancy. Keep us posted. I agree, we should begin another thread. Think of a name to get eveyone. Later!!

thanks girls, it's nice to be back. Helen- my last and 3rd round I did IUI and then when we tried natural my cycle was way off target. One month a ov on cd12 and then next cd20, so that was hard to catch. Im going for my IVF consultation on January 19. Not many dr take my insurance, so I dont have much choices. Well I'll let u know the verdict on that. Oh its a great idea to start a new post and the name is perfect. Good night..

While I was traveling this past week (and away from the internet), I was thinking of the people on this board and hoping things were going well for all of you! I'm still in the middle of my post-Follistim natural cycle, and I'm getting an ultrasound tomorrow to see if I'm ovulating (the sticks don't work for some people like me with PCOS). I'm thinking more and more about graduating to IVF to avoid another case of hyperstimulation.

Helen, are you feeling any side effects from the injections?

It is weird how so many of us are at the door for IVF. It is nice to talk to people who have the same experiences and honestly share feelings other say they understand but have no clue. I am thankful for th chance to discuss this with all of you and see hope for me in your hope. best of baby wishes for everyone in 2006.

Well Ladies..glad to hear everyone is staying postive and had a great holiday. AF arrived on the 22nd of Dec..so our 3rd IUI didn't work. We are doing a natural cycle this month then will go in for another follistim and IUI in Jan when this cycle ends. DH and I still aren't sure if IVF is for us but we are going to talk to the doctor about it when we go in for this next IUI. I know that she is a not really wanting me to go that route..just yet. She basically feels that we have only "really" been trying for 3 months..since the clomid never did enough to even stimulate.. I understand her..but nevertheless it is still hard. I'll keep everyone posted if anything new or exciting happens. Lets all have postive thoughts for the new year!!!

Carrie..sorry to hear it did not work. Do you get one IUI or two? I have done 2 natural cycles. Nothing in Nov. and now I am in the 2ww. We are still BDing incase I have missed my Oing. RE said hubby's sperm if fine to cover daily if we wanted so...hubby is determined to get us prego without the help of drugs. he is so funny sometimes. I hope everyone is doing well during this busy time. Talk to y'all soon.

Lynn- that is funny about your husband, mine is the same. He think that ones u go for IVF it's not natural any more, so he want to make sure we'll get pregnant this month. Before, I almost had to beg him to bd.... and now it's everyday for two weeks. Now I tell him that Im not in mood... LOL... Anyway, I know for sure that if I dont get pg this month, I will not get upset. I have big hopes for IVF. Helen - how are u? What is everyone doing for New Year's?

Anna...glad I am not alone with the husband thing. He tells me all the time in 2004, I got you pregnant...I can do it again. I keep telling him he is still getting me pregnant we are just getting assistance. New Year's is just us at home. A few friends are coming over but nothing major. I am not much interested in the drinking thing especially while being in my 2ww. check back again later.

hi girls... how's everyone doing? LM, thanks for thinking of us. how are you doing? Carrie, sorry this cycle didn't work out for you. hope your natural cycle works out. Anna, do you think you'll be doing IVF for sure? you're so lucky that your insurance covers IVF. it is not natural to manipulate your body with all the hormones, ect...but what can we do? at this point i'll do anything to get pg! :o) Lynn, are you done bd'ing? have you used the opk this month? you should look into temping. the lupron injections haven't been too bad, only headaches and restlessness. the needle hurts...the follistim pen is nothing compared to this. but i heard the progesterone shots which are intramuscular are the worst! goody, something to look forward to. i'm going to Palm Springs for the weekend so i'll check back on Tue. i hope everyone has a great new year and i hope each and every one of us gets pregnant in 2006!!! Mari, Okiejpb, Beth and anyone else i forgot, hope you all are doing well. loads of baby dust and i'll be thinking of you girls during the new year count down and make a special wish for all of us!!

Helen, thanks for the info you shared and have a wonderful time in Palm Springs! At what point in your cycle do you start going to the clinic daily? How many days of Lupron are you doing? I'm starting off the new year with an IVF consultation Monday am and acupuncture Tuesday. Tonight I'm going to toast to everyone on the board for BFP's in 2006.

Well girls....here it is almost a new year. I wish and bless each of us for a HUGE BFP in 2006. Hubby is still insistant of BDing but I know I have O'd and now just praying for the best. AF should show anywhere from Jan. 6th -10th so I am hoping, praying, pleading and whatever else I can do she does not show for good reasons. I too will say a VERY special pray adn wosh for all of us going into the new year wishing and wanting a baby. Best of Luck girls....Have fun in whatever you do tonight and be safe.

hi girls...i'm back. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! well on Mon. i got my period again (cd 15) but i was told to expect this. kind of strange, but oh well. i'm assuming it's from the lupron. LM, i'm on 10 units of lupron for 11 days, and 5 units until the HCG(trigger) injection. i won't know further details until this Friday when i go in for another baseline u/s. then i'll know the dosage for menopur and follistim. i think i'll be making daily visits at least 5 days before retrieval. LM-how did your appt go for IVF? hope it was what you'd expected. Lynn, how are you? did you have a great New Year's day? how is your 2ww coming along? Okiejpb, you should have your appt. today. let us know how everything went...less than 2 wks now for your retrieval. have you started your meds yet? Anna, when do you go for your appt? are you also in your 2ww? hope everyone gets their new year wish and hope we all keep our new year resolution for more than 2 weeks! :o) Lynn, you should do the honors of starting another new post. have you thought of any good names...if you can't think of any, just call it Follistim II/ IVF.

If a new post is started, how do know and how do we get to it? This is my first board, and so apologies for my ignorance.

I'm on CD 22 of a natural cycle since I had OHSS last month during my 1st follistim cycle. Now I have one very slowly growing follicle, and so the RE wants to keep watching it just in case it matures. This long, slow natural cycle is typical of my PCOS, but it's frustrating since I want to be moving forward! On the bright side, at least my ovaries are resting after last month's follicle frenzy and before next month's IVF.

I have an appt this Friday with my RE to look at this follicle again and then make an IVF game plan. Helen, thanks for sharing the info as I try to understand more about IVf protocol. Lynn, I hope your 2ww wraps up quickly with good news.

Hey Helen...I am glad to have some company. I was beginning to wonder what happened to everyone. I thought maybe everyone moved to the IVF thread. So, it is common to get your period in the middle of the IVF cycle? I think if this month is not it, we will do at least 2 cycles of follistim before moving onto IVF. I do want to talk to my RE about IVF incase we have to go that route. LM...nice to see you joining us. If we make a new thread (which I do not think is a bad idea), you just need to look for it on the list a click. Does that make sense? Mari, Anna, Debbie, Carrie, Okiejpb, Beth, Edy...how r you girls doing? I hope eveything is going well with Edy and Beth. Talk to y'all later...
