depending on how I should take it we had good news, I ovulated early again - doesn't help when ttc and don't know when I ovulate. Does anyone know if there would be any other reason for elevated progesterone level other than ovulation?

Hi Ladies, I have been following you guys for a couple of months now. My first Iui is scheduled for tomorrow. I'm already dreading the next two weeks. Congratulations to everyone that has gotten your Positives!!! Everybody else keep the Faith!! You are in my prayers daily!!!!

Hi everyone! First off, good luck to all of you going through this trying time, everything will work out when the time is right.
Got pregnant on my first IUI in March, miscarried about 6 weeks. 2nd IUI didn't work and I go in for my 3rd middle of next week.

kristykins79 - May 1st, 2010 10:12 PM

Had our first IUI today- we go back tomorrow for another. Our Doctor does back to back to maximize our chances. Then we have the dreaded 2 week wait. My sister is 15 weeks pregnant after her FIRST IUI! I am hoping it works for us too.

Kristy: Good luck with both of your IUI's! The 2ww is hard but try to keep yourself busy, getting stressed and worrying about what might be going on in here won't help. Believe in the power of positive thinking. I am a prime example that it can happen on the first go. I hope this works out for you!!

Hello ladies, I just had my first IUI done one the 25th of april, now waiting on the 2ww :o( going thru an episode of depression and unable to take anything for it. My test is scheduled for the 7th and I am hoping for a positive so I don't have to go thru everything I went thru. I am doing this alone and paying for all the meds out of pocket since my insurance only pays for the IUI's and dr. visits. which helps a lot. wish everyone the best...

Hello all - new to the forum. I have unexplained infertility and my husband is average in all his #'s. Had my 1st IUI last Wed & Thurs. Did the Tamoxifin and shot before the IUI. Started Prometrium this past Sunday. Odd question - after reading online it seems there's oral prom and suppository prometrium. I can't find anywhere on the meds or my paperwork from my RE stating what kind mine is. I've been taking them orally. Anyone out there know how to tell? I do have a call into my nurse at my RE.

jenicholtns - May 5th, 2010 10:58 AM

So it should be a suppository NOT taken orally...hope it hasn't hurt my chances! :(

bm83 - May 5th, 2010 4:34 PM

jeni - your pharmacists should have went over all of this with you, that's a poor job. I hope that everything turns out alright for you. You are already half done your 2ww, hang in there for a bit longer!

Patty49 - May 6th, 2010 11:00 AM

Mssy - I just wanted to check in and see how your 2nd IUI went? I haven't been able to have a IUI since my first one b/c I keep ovulating early - this last time it was on or before day 11 so now just waiting for my next cycle to start and we will have me checked on cd9.

mssy419 - May 7th, 2010 7:00 PM

Hey Patty. My 2nd IUI didn't work. I'm so dissappointed, BC we can't afford to keep buying sperm. We talked to our Doc and he understands our financial situation, so he advised for us to take a month off, then start injections. If the injections don't work, I just don't know what we will do. I'm sorry that you keep ovulating early. It's so frustrating when you can't control whats going on with your body. But at least you're ovulating, right? I just feel really alone. None of my friends have gone through this and my husband just doesn't seem to understand.

AdoptedByLight - May 7th, 2010 11:50 PM

Hey guys! Just checking in. I'm so sorry about everyone's BFN :-( Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever heard of Fertility Lifelines? It's a program that will help you financially with your cycles. I got 2 of my cycles free with this program. You can get them for little to no money...if you qualify. Unless you're making TONS of money, you should qualify. If anyone is interested, I can give you the phone numbers and tell you how it works. If nothing else, you can get cheaper medications through their pharmacy. The lady that helped me was AWESOME! My cycle started that same day and she got my meds to me overnight...even tho the process was suppose to take like two weeks!!! So if anyone wants to know...just ask :-) As a side note, my pregnancy symptoms have gone away again...and I am freaking out! This is the longest I have gone without major symptoms. I have puked about once a day, but I was doing it much more. I am 9 weeks along today. Please keep me in your prayers. My next ultrasound isn't until 12 weeks. Thanks girls!
