Hi everyone. I had 1st IUI 2 weeks ago today and had a BFP this morning! I'm in complete shock. I've taken three tests just because I can't believe it. This has been a long two years of ttc. Thank you God! I wish you all BFP's! Babydust |

Sorry I didn't post yesterday! But my follies scanned much better! I have an 18, 15 and 13 as of yesterday, and I am going to trigger tonight and IUI 10 am monday! I am sooo excited that I get to at least try this round! CAI I am keeping my fingers crossed for you too! we will be very close in our 2ww. So hopefully we will both have good outcomes! |

Hi All - I am so glad I just found this website. Today is day 1 of my cycle which means I am about to call and set up my first ultrasound and blood work to start my first round of IUI. Can anyone tell me what I am going to be going through with the hormone shots? Thank you! |

Welcome Baby26. Not quite certain if your doc will take the same steps as mine as all patients are different but I started tamoxifen (some people use Clomid) on CD2 to CD5. I had an u/s on CD13 and found one follicle, also had trigger on CD13 and did iui on CD14. Hope this helps :) |

Hi YellowMutt... glad to hear that things are going better. I have to ask my doc how come I have my iui so soon as the trigger, I see that some people have theirs about 36 hours after but this is the second time they did the iui in 24 hours. Baby dust to you. |

Hi Baby26! I did clomid days 5-9, and I will inject my Ovidrel trigger tonight. I had no real side effects other than headache on the 4th and 5th days of the meds. Other than that, not really bad at all! getting used to the ultrasounds...at this point they are no bother at all..haha. CAI, yes, mine is 36 hours....I'm not sure why some do 24 hour and some 36? maybe it depends on the meds you use. I feel like my timing for IUI is really good...although I keep agonizing about what if I am a day too early, or a day too late....ug. what if there isn't an egg? ug. It's so hard to know if if doesn't work all the money that just went down the drain...and the time involved. I just have to try to keep my optimism up though. I will be a HOT MESS by the time my 2ww is up! lol. Baby dust to you too CAI! |

Good Morning! Thanks to all of you for your stories.... I took clomid for five days, a trigger shot on Feb. 16, IUI Feb. 17 and Feb. 18. Go in Tues. for progest. blood work. Can test around March 6th. TTC for five years. First time IUI. |
