The past couple of days I was having these sharp pains around my uterus/ovaries. I went in today and found out I had a ruptured cyst. They said this is probably from the Clomid. Has anyone else experienced this? It was so painful!!! I hope it doesn't happen again... |

Tryingtoconceive10 I was with my girlfriend when she had a cyst rupture. I was so afraid because neither of us knew what was happening to her. From what I saw it is indeed very painful. She was fine, btw and has two beautiful girls!! |

Well, got a negative this morning on the HPT :0( Still keeping my fingers crossed that it's still too early, but I really don't think it is! I'll call the doctor this am and see what I need to do. BUMMER! |

Went in for my third IUI this morning - they keep getting more painful! Doctor couldn't get catheter up there so had to keep dilating my cervix even more. Now I have bad cramps - probably a combination of the procedure and maybe ovulation. I hope those of you who are going back for more IUI's have better experience! Guess my cervix doesn't like all that poking and prodding. :-) Tryingtoconceive - sorry to hear about the ruptured cyst - ouch. I'm worried I might have that too since I had two cysts left over from last cycle. Thanks for the warning! SJP and jlh - congrats! So happy for you both - you give us all hope. aat83 - good luck with the injectables this cycle. Not sure if there is more success with injectables vs. clomid. Definitely more monitoring. cdoc10 - any news? CAI - hope you have many mature follicles springing up this week! Mrs. JJ - sorry about your news. Keep the faith! Babydust to all... |

Hi cdefonso, maybe you were a bit tense that caused your pain but look at it this way, 2 weeks from now you will not remember the pain :) |

cdefonso, did you have to drink a lot of water before the iui? How long did you rest for after the iui? |

Hi Mrs.JJ, sorry to hear of your results, I know the pain. Will you move onto iui #2 right away? My doc had advise me to do it right away as the meds were still in my body. |

well i got the call, BFN like I expected. I took another hpt yesterday and it was BFN too, so I was prepared. its a little confusing since the nurse reviewed everything and said all of it looked great (good response to clomid, 2 big follicles, high sperm count etc.) so there's really nothing to point to or do differently. so...on to another iui cycle. oh well, at least i know what to expect this time and can go back to the gym for a while. i didn't speak to the doctor--only the nurse---did most of you consult with the doc after an unsucessful iui? i have questions, but acc to the nurse, there really aren't answers. congrats again to SJP and jlh--really fantastic news. tryingtoconceive10---ugh, the cyst sounds painful! looks like we're both in the next round of iui. when did you start taking clomid again? |
